This is an old, still functioning (at least they say so) Syrian Orthodox Church dating back to 4 century. However, during our 2 days in Mardin we tried three times to visit it but it was closed.

Hard to find it open
This is an old, still functioning (at least they say so) Syrian Orthodox Church dating back to 4 century. However, during our 2 days in Mardin we tried three times to visit it but it was closed.
Very nice
I spent 7 days in Mardin in the hotel opposite of Kirklar church but I couldn’t see nothing inside because the corona pandemic.
