Hiking and Cavern
The Cavern is amazing. Hiking the back country canyons is also amazing. Scenery is awesome! Check out the Rattlesnake Springs picnic area.

Has a good collection of old pottery , and history of the finding of the Carlsbad caves . The musuem shop has great unique products from local artisans.
