A great day out
Dunnet Head is always great to visit at any time of the year. It is the focal point of the North Highland Way. We looked at Heathsfield, a little woodland on the Head.
Stunning scenery and also little inlets on the road that we stopped at the make a coffee, sheltered from the wind, ideal for camper vans, total darkness at night also, and no noise whatsoever
Northern most point in Britain - come here not O’Groats
Worth the drive - beautiful views, not crowded, good bird watching, peaceful. This is northern most point in Britain. Come here and not touristy crowded John O’Groats.
We visited here on our trip round the North Coast 500. The beach is beautiful, and the lighthouse stunning. Lots of sea birds can be viewed - take binoculars!

Lovely views & walks. Lots of sign posts and information. On a clear day you can see the other Islands.
