Shenzhen's culinary landscape is dominated by Cantonese cuisine, blending tradition with innovation, from the smooth Teochew-style rice noodle rolls, delicate double-skin milk, and exquisite shrimp dumplings, to the golden-red roast goose and the crispy and juicy Guangming pigeon. Each dish is a refined presentation of taste, deeply loved by diners.
The rice noodle rolls in Shenzhen are mainly Teochew-style, with a variety of flavors and rich sauces. Common varieties include chive and double egg rolls, mushroom and beef rolls, etc. The rice noodle rolls have thin skins and are generously filled, made with freshly ground pure rice milk, resulting in a smooth and tender texture, much loved by locals. It is recommended to eat with different sauces and chili sauce to enhance the flavor. There are also traditional rice noodle rolls made with a sieve, which have a unique flavor and cultural characteristic.
Shenzhen's double-skin milk is a traditional Cantonese dessert, loved by diners for its rich milky fragrance and delicate texture. This delicacy originated from Shunde, Guangdong during the Qing Dynasty, made from water buffalo milk, egg whites, and sugar, characterized by two layers of milk skin, the upper layer being crispy and the lower layer being smooth. In Shenzhen, double-skin milk is not only a delicious dessert but also a representation of Shunde's culinary culture, recommended to be tasted at well-known time-honored shops.
Shrimp dumplings are a specialty snack from Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, belonging to the Cantonese cuisine category, known for their thin skin, beautiful semi-transparent appearance, and fresh and smooth taste. The making of shrimp dumplings is exquisite; traditional shrimp dumplings are crescent-shaped with twelve pleats, typically filled with shrimp, meat, and bamboo shoots. Each step, from making the dough, and filling, to cooking, requires precise control. In Shenzhen, shrimp dumplings are not only a must-order delicacy during morning tea but also come in various innovative versions such as black truffle shrimp dumplings, loved by locals and tourists alike.
Shenzhen's roast goose is famous for its golden-red color and crispy skin with tender meat, representing traditional Guangdong cuisine. The preparation of roast goose is complex, carefully roasted over an open flame, resulting in a crispy skin and delicious meat, giving a sense of happiness with the juice filling the mouth. It is recommended to taste at well-known local roast goose shops, such as Wah Heung Goose, Ke Yuan Xian Ji Roast Goose King, etc., and to eat with plum sauce or other condiments to experience its unique flavor.
Known as "the best pigeon in the world," it is a traditional famous dish in Shenzhen, belonging to the Cantonese cuisine series, loved by diners for its crispy skin, tender meat, and juicy, delicious flavor. The key to making Guangming pigeon is to select squabs that are 25 to 28 days old, marinated in a secret brine and then lightly fried, making the fat under the pigeon's skin aromatic and the meat fresh and juicy. When served, the whole pigeon is presented, starting with the nutrition-rich head, followed by the wings and body, to maintain the complete taste and juices.
Shenzhen's transportation network is extensive and efficient, with Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport and the city's railway stations being key hubs for intercity travel.
Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (SZX) is a major aviation hub located 32 km northwest of the city center. It serves as a hub for several airlines and offers a wide range of domestic and international flights. To reach the city from the airport, passengers can use the metro service connected to the airport terminal via an Automated People Mover (APM) system, or opt for bus, taxi, and intercity bus services available at the Ground Transportation Center.
Shenzhen Railway Station, also known as Luohu Railway Station, is situated in the Luohu District and serves as the southern terminus of the Guangshen Railway. It provides access to high-speed trains to Guangzhou and conventional trains to various destinations across China. The station is conveniently connected to the city via Subway Line 1 (Luo Bao Line), which offers a direct route to central district and other parts of Shenzhen.
Shenzhen Metro is a highly efficient and affordable way to navigate the city, with 441 stations and 18 lines connecting various districts and popular destinations. The trains run frequently, every 3 to 5 minutes, and the fare ranges from 2 to 11 Yuan, making it accessible for daily commutes and city exploration. For added convenience, travelers can use the "Shenzhen Tong" card on both the metro and bus systems.
The city's bus network is extensive, with almost 500 lines and around 10,000 buses, ensuring comprehensive coverage across Shenzhen. Buses are a popular mode of transport, especially during off-peak hours to avoid the rush. The bus system is integrated with the metro, allowing for seamless travel within the urban area.
Taxis in Shenzhen are well-regulated, offering a reliable service with a starting fare of 10 Yuan for the first 2 km, followed by an incremental charge based on distance. For a more modern approach, ride-hailing apps like Didi Chuxing provide an alternative to traditional taxis, with the convenience of an English interface for international travelers.
Shenzhen is a city renowned for its diverse accommodation options, with hotels spread across distinct districts, each offering its own unique traits. The city's accommodation landscape reflects the variety of its regions, catering to every traveler's preferences and needs.

The best time to visit Shenzhen is from October to March, when the weather is pleasant with much less rainfall and the occurrence of a typhoon is very rare. This period includes the cool and dry autumn months, as well as the mild and sunny winter season, making outdoor activities and visits to theme parks enjoyable. Specifically, mid-October to late November offers comfortable temperatures and less rainfall, ideal for exploring the city's attractions.
Shenzhen, a city where the past meets the future, is a linguistic tapestry woven with Mandarin and Cantonese. As a traveler, navigating this multi-lingual landscape, one can rely on translation apps or local interpretation services. The city's cosmopolitan nature is reflected in its residents' multilingual abilities, often a necessity in this global tech hub.
Alipay: A versatile app used for cashless transactions and public transportation, with a 'Transport' button for easy access to subways and buses.
WeChat: An essential app for communication, social sharing, and digital wallet services, including paying for meals and taxis.
Baidu Maps: The go-to map app in China, offering accurate, real-time navigation and surpassing Google Maps in reliability.
Mobile data packages for immigrants in China are available through local carriers such as China Mobile and Unicom. China Mobile offers prepaid data SIM cards with unlimited text messages and calls within China, and high-speed connections, sometimes even 5G. Unicom provides SIM cards with data packs that include unlimited music applications, and both do not require long-term contracts.
Public WiFi in China is widely available in places like airports, restaurants, coffee shops, and malls. However, connecting to these networks often requires a Chinese phone number for text verification, which can be a challenge for travelers without a local SIM card. Global WiFi devices like Skyroam can be a convenient alternative, offering the ability to connect multiple devices and requiring no additional setup upon arrival in China.
Shenzhen experiences a subtropical climate with mild winters and hot, humid summers. The city sees abundant rainfall, particularly from May to September.
Typhoons are a possibility, mostly occurring from May to December. Travelers should pack light, breathable clothing and be prepared for rain with waterproof gear. During summer, sun protection is essential due to high temperatures and humidity.
In winter, a warm coat may be necessary as temperatures can drop to around 10°C (50°F). It is also advisable to stay updated on weather forecasts to avoid extreme conditions like typhoons and heavy rainfall.
In Shenzhen, mobile payments such as WeChat Pay and Alipay, along with overseas bank cards and RMB cash, are the primary payment methods for foreign tourists.
Overseas bank cards like Visa and MasterCard can be used at many merchants, and RMB cash is accepted universally, especially for smaller transactions. Mobile payments are ubiquitous, with WeChat Pay allowing foreign cards and exempting transaction fees for amounts below RMB 200.
When using overseas bank cards, ensure they are enabled for international use. They should have sufficient funds for mobile payments, and you should be aware of any transaction limits or fees that may apply.

PProu_concept: I chose Aoki Yingyin Hotel for a solo vacation to relax and completely recover from work fatigue, and my solo stay experience was perfect. The hotel offers excellent privacy, making it a safe choice for solo female travelers. The room design is simple and soothing, spotlessly clean, with every corner tidied and no unpleasant odors. The bedding is cloud-soft, and there are both soft and firm pillows available for replacement as needed, significantly improving sleep quality. The core feature, the giant screen projection, was a source of solo happiness. The 4K high-definition picture paired with cinema-quality sound allowed me to cozy up in bed to watch blockbusters and binge-watch trending series. The immersive experience far surpassed watching TV at home. Screen mirroring from my phone was simple, with a full range of variety shows, anime, and movies available without needing extra subscriptions. The smart lighting throughout the room could be switched to a dim movie-watching mode with just one tap, creating a fantastic ambiance. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, the thermostatic shower provides a gentle flow, and the toiletries have a subtle, elegant scent, indicating good quality. The high-speed internet was stable; I could stream shows and videos without any buffering. The mini-bar offered free drinking water. The front desk service was gentle, and check-in was quick without excessive intrusion. Online communication was responsive for any needs. The soundproofing was excellent, blocking out external noise and allowing me to enjoy a quiet, relaxing space. Considering the affordable price and the brand-new, comprehensive facilities, I highly recommend Aoki for solo getaways or short stays. It has already been added to my regular accommodation list.

WWoshimengmengmeng: I just had to leave a glowing review after my stay! Both the hallways and the room were spotlessly clean with great attention to detail. The room was very quiet, ensuring an undisturbed rest. The room amenities are complete, and the Wi-Fi was fast and stable the whole time—perfect for gaming or streaming shows. The independent air conditioning heats and cools effectively, and the zero-pressure mattress made it super relaxing to lie down. The shower had steady water pressure with a continuous supply of hot water. The 24-hour self-service laundry room on the 10th floor is fully equipped with washing and drying machines. Step outside and you'll find Mixue Ice Cream & Tea and Gu Ming right there, with a Busy For You snack shop just around the corner and plenty of local eateries on the food street, so you don't have to walk far to find good food. The front desk staff were also very polite and welcoming.

AAnonymous User: My name is Adan Mandaya, and I'm traveling in China. I've been in Shenzhen for half a month now, escaping the summer heat. I'm still not very good at using smart TVs in hotels. Back home, watching TV is all about luck; if the signal is bad, you just give it a few taps, and the remote usually just serves as a paperweight. Every time I stay in a hotel in China, the TV changes channels with a single press, and the remote responds instantly, which actually makes me quite uncomfortable. It feels like something is missing from the unpredictable nature of life. That is, until I stayed at the Hampton by Hilton Shenzhen Dongmen. The TV here often freezes intermittently, with the picture stuck on the screen. When it freezes, the remote control becomes completely unresponsive, as if to remind me: 'Humans, do not imagine controlling everything.' I have to unplug it to restart it. Every time I pull the plug, wait a few seconds, and then plug it back in, the moment the TV lights up again, I feel like I've completed a sacred ritual. This makes me feel that my national culture is being respected: TVs should have their quirks, remotes should be powerless, and guests should learn to humble themselves before appliances. I hope the owner maintains this tradition and absolutely does not fix the TV; whoever tries to fix it will have me to deal with. I wish the owner prosperous business. Love from the Republic of India, South Asia ❤️

AAdeline.LB: Take some time to find this service apartment location, their check-in counter is at level 6 and there is nothing no sign to leads the ways up. Do take note there are 3 Tower -A, B, C and unit number are the same. If you asking friends to visit you MUST advise the Tower. The room we booked they claimed for 8 people, i believe they are referring beds not the room area. This unit has 1 toilet, 2 rooms with queen size and another 2 queen size bed occupied the hall and 3ft table, 2 chairs. Their very small kitchen allows 1 person to go in and there is a stove BUT no utensils and cutlery. **Look at the ceiling patches here n there. So if each of us bought 26-28 inches size luggage. How to clamp is the room!! Good point you can consider, It is so convenient on transportation by bus or trains and food.

No. 3109 Qianhai Road, Nanshan District, Shenzhen. This building isn't exactly eye-catching in Nanshan, but once you step inside, you'll discover something unexpected: it's half hotel, half apartment, and it's the first DoubleTree by Hilton in Greater China to house both under one roof. Opened in 2021, its 305 rooms are spread across floors 5 to 21, with many suites featuring open kitchens and washer-dryer combos. People staying for 3 days on business and those staying for 3 weeks ride the same elevators, which is not very common in traditional hotels. The most memorable aspect of the design is the color scheme. The entire hotel is grounded in low-saturation warm gray, with orange-yellow lighting used as accents in just the right places—not flooded, but rather like someone gently brushing a few warm strokes onto a gray canvas. The lobby features creamy white marble paired with a full wall of white ivory relief. It doesn't wear its "luxury" on its chandeliers; instead, it's understated—elegant, yet not cold. The guest rooms continue this same tone, with natural wood and warm colors grounding the space. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows are the greenery of Zhongshan Park and the skyline of Nanshan. Staying here, you don't really feel like you're in a hotel; it feels more like a room that's been thoughtfully prepared for you. The apartment aspect is more practical in its details. The kitchen in the suite isn't just for show; it's fully equipped with Electrolux appliances, a microwave, an induction cooktop, and a dishwasher. The dining table is right there, making it easy to cook a meal with groceries you've bought or to spread out your laptop and get some work done. A washer-dryer combo is tucked into the bathroom area, so long-term guests don't have to save up a suitcase of dirty laundry until they get home. Walk out the back door and you're right at the Holland Flower Town. You don't need to make a special trip to "check in" at the flower market and greenery; just passing by counts as a visit. Nantou Ancient City is about a 15-minute walk away, and Zhongshan Park is also within walking distance. The Bay Glory Ferris Wheel is about a 15-minute taxi ride away. In the evening, you can even catch a glimpse of that slowly turning white silhouette in the distance from the floor-to-ceiling windows on the hotel's upper floors. The most effortless thing about this hotel is that it doesn't force a hard separation between "apartment" and "hotel." The kitchen, washing machine, warm gray walls, and orange-yellow lights are all in one space, so you won't feel out of place even if you stay for a while.

Hidden away in Nan'ao, Shenzhen, is a seaside homestay with a Tuscan vibe. You don't need to travel all the way to Italy to enjoy a quiet, oceanfront vacation. I stayed at Hey Sea Homestay this time. It's a reasonable drive from the city, making it perfect for a short weekend escape. The building features white walls paired with warm red tiles and naturally scattered greenery. Without any overly deliberate "influencer" decor, walking inside helps you slowly shed the tense pace of city life. My favorite part of the room I chose was the large terrace with a 180° ocean view. The view is expansive, with nothing obstructing the sea in front. During the day, the water is a clear, translucent blue—often referred to as the "Akanala Glazed Sea." When the lighting is just right, the layers of the water look incredibly soft. As dusk approaches, pull up a chair on the terrace and sit quietly, waiting for the sunset. The glow slowly spreads across the water, transitioning from light gold to orange. With the sea breeze gently blowing and only the sound of the waves in your ears, time seems to slow down—it's the perfect spot to just sit and daydream. The room also features a private soaking tub, which is a real highlight. After a walk on the beach during the day, you can soak in the tub while gazing out at the ocean. As the sky darkens and twilight settles over the mountains and sea, the water grows calm. Soaking in the tub with the evening breeze is an incredibly relaxing experience. The homestay's public area includes a sea-view cafe and a Western restaurant, so you can dine or enjoy coffee right by the ocean. The outdoor infinity pool faces the sea, offering a great spot to relax during your downtime. If you're looking for deeper relaxation, you can book services like a Yao herbal bath spa or singing bowl therapy in advance. There's also a children's play area, providing space for little ones to have fun if you're traveling with family. Location-wise, the homestay is near Akanala Glazed Sea Beach, just a short walk away. You can stroll along the coastline to admire the reefs and waves, or stop by the Nan'ao area to find some fresh seafood. Compared to more popular beaches, this entire area is less crowded and relatively quiet. PS 🩵 For the best sunset views, the lighting is optimal half an hour before sunset. I recommend heading to the terrace early to get settled. (The seaside can be windy in the morning and evening, so you might want to bring a light jacket.) 📍Hey Sea Homestay

My partner kept nagging me to go to the beach—you know, the whole "crying and making a scene" routine. I couldn't say no, so I grabbed this stubborn person and we hit the road. On Halloween, Oct 31 🎃, we took a nap until 2:00 PM, called a ride-share, and started the long drive~ My partner was squirming around in the car, while I fell asleep for over an hour. I woke up, opened my eyes, and: Oh my god, we're at the beach already? [Transportation & Entry] After getting out of the car, we hopped on one of those cartoon-like sightseeing shuttles. We stayed in the same mountain-sea view room featured in Stephen Chow's "The Mermaid." The shuttle took us all the way from the gate to our room—no walking required, a lazy person's dream. [How to get to Mermaid Cave] Let me teach you how to get to the filming location of Stephen Chow's "The Mermaid"—Mermaid Cave. At low tide, the "glass sea" looks like jelly, and the rocks on the seabed are crystal clear. Every photo you take looks like a movie scene. Exploring the cave on foot is the real highlight; that feeling of the sea breeze hitting your face is just so relaxing—if you know, you know. [Staying in a little house] It was getting dark, so we snuggled into a little house at Luzui Villa 🏠 and took a quick nap. P7: Many celebrities have been here; Mango TV even featured Luzui Villa. P8: The little house I stayed in 🏠. P9: The night view of the house, the legendary "Luzui Starry Night." It was pitch black but dotted with stars—the vibe was spot on. P10: Time to eat! First, we had some roast chicken (at the Mermaid Cliff Restaurant in the villa, with a 270° panoramic view of Daya Bay. Eating a chicken leg while watching the waves and the sunset turning the sea to gold—it was amazing). P11: The room at dusk. Open the window and you see mountains ⛰️ + sea. The wooden decor is clean and healing. Sleeping to the sound of the waves—it really lives up to its name as the "Little Kenting of Shenzhen." P12: You can hang a blessing plaque for 9.9—it's all about the ritual. P13: The Mermaid Cave itself, so beautiful. [Eight Sights & Photo Ops] The rest are all beautiful views~ We checked off the Eight Sights of Luzui one by one: Auspicious Turtle Entering the Sea, Golden Toad Playing with Crocodile, Auspicious Lion, End of the World, Mermaid Cave, Luzui Sunset Glow, Luzui Starry Night, and Cliff Sunrise. For the orange sunset in the evening and the cliff sunrise in the morning, I suggest you just fill up your phone's storage. We also lounged at the Lover's Cliff Cafe for a while, enjoying a cup of coffee with an unbeatable sea view. [Service & Tips] The front desk was very responsive. How to explore the area, what time is low tide, which spots are best for photos—one question and they had it all figured out for us. Self-driving guests get free parking, sightseeing shuttles provide door-to-door service, and there's even a VIP lane and photo spot guidance for taking pictures. It made getting great shots so efficient. P18: One trip, and I spent next month's budget. Well, that's what you get with a stubborn girlfriend, hahahaha.

“Dreams are the most honest monologues of the soul.”🌌 Abstract subconscious, fragmented fantasies Nine layers of staggered illusions, blurred light and shadow, a god-tier atmosphere✨ The entire exhibition hall is filled with artistic metaphors Carrying a unique, cool, and romantic vibe🌙 The Jorōgumo spider hides the gentle shackles of reality The ferryman shrouded in soft light, quiet and sacred The most heart-stirring corner is by the window frame Deep blue fish looking back, the atmosphere is fully realized🌫️ Escape the boring daily routine of the city Briefly fall into this bizarre and romantic world In this artistic illusion Allow yourself to be wildly free, allow yourself to be different🖤

If there's anywhere in Shenzhen that makes you feel like you're in the South of France or Morocco, it's SENSEA. 🏝️ In this space surrounded by terracotta-pink walls, red-and-white striped umbrellas, and ocean views, you don't have to do anything. Just soaking in the heated pool, watching the sparkling sea, and sipping an iced juice is healing enough. 🍹🫧 This time, I specifically prepared two OOTDs that perfectly blend into the exotic vibe here, making even the hotel's afternoon tea look like a vintage magazine spread. 🩷🩵 Look 1: Pink and purple color blocking, rejecting boring "old money" style Against the pink walls and blue pool, I skipped the safe choice of red. I went for a look that's both innocent and alluring. Taking off my shoes and stepping barefoot on the wooden floor, just standing there casually with a juice in hand 🍹 is the definition of relaxed vibes. 🤎🤍 Look 2: Boho Chic, vintage bohemian wanderer At the rocky beach area: caramel-colored halter top + white hollow-out lace skirt. To balance the cool tone of the sea breeze, I specifically paired it with a vintage headscarf and oversized gold earrings. The collision of rough rocks and soft lace, paired with a woven bag, makes me feel like a nomadic girl walking out of an old movie. 📝 [Ocean View Afternoon Tea & Photo Tips] 1️⃣ Photo spot recommendation: The pink grand staircase in photo 1️⃣ for a top-down shot. The red-and-white striped lounge chair area is perfect for close-ups of a lazy afternoon tea (magazines, fruit, and drinks are great photo props). 2️⃣ Lighting: Cloudy days or after 4:00 PM offer the softest light, bringing a cool, cinematic tone naturally, so don't feel like you need bright sunshine. 3️⃣ Relaxed vibes: Don't look at the camera on purpose! Holding your hat brim while looking at the sea, looking down while flipping through a magazine, or walking barefoot on the beach—candid shots are the most natural. By this pool wrapped in sea breezes and sunsets, one side is the passion of pink and purple, and the other is the gentleness of earth tones. While it's not too crowded, come here for a vacation~ 🌴 📍Location: SENSEA Resort, Shenzhen

I always thought a family vacation meant heading to the beach, until I turned onto 9009 Shennan Avenue. Two massive Spanish galleons are suspended over the driveway, making it feel like I’d stumbled onto the set of a pirate movie. The hotel is right at Exit C of OCT Station on Metro Line 1—a 10-second walk from the station to the lobby. You’d be hard-pressed to find another place in Shenzhen that offers such an instant transition from city center to island getaway. The rooms feature high ceilings and a distinct "old money" aesthetic. Starting at 55 sqm, they all come with balconies, and the Dyson hair dryers and BYREDO toiletries are a nice touch. If you’re traveling with kids, I highly recommend booking the Wonder Utopia family room. It’s fully equipped with children’s bathrobes, slippers, and footstools—the details are so thoughtful, you’ll want to commend the butler. The real highlight is the backyard. The 10,000 sqm Caribbean-style garden features a real sand beach and a 2,000 sqm outdoor pool complex. With separate areas for shallow water, slides, and adults, plus padded corners throughout, the kids can splash around all afternoon without tiring out. Indoors, there’s a 5,000 sqm "Wonder Utopia" packed with ball pits, a carousel, and craft classes. The free mini-train runs on a schedule, and once the kids hop on, they won't want to get off. As for dining, the breakfast buffet is a pleasant surprise. You can pick your own fruit at the fresh juice station. The Portuguese egg tarts are perfectly flaky, the pineapple buns are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the wontons are delicate and flavorful. Both Nanyang-style dishes and Cantonese dim sum are excellent. The dinner buffet features freshly carved steak and Häagen-Dazs. The quality is great, but I recommend booking in advance during peak season. The location is incredibly convenient: Window of the World and Happy Valley are within a 15-minute walk, and Splendid China is just a short stroll away. You can head back to the hotel to relax after sightseeing—zero hassle. A quick tip: The hotel has been open for a while, and some corridors may occasionally have a faint smell of smoke. If you’re sensitive to odors, you can request a room on a non-smoking floor when you check in. Summary: If you’re looking for a resort hotel in downtown Shenzhen where kids can burn off energy, adults can relax, and the subway and attractions are right outside, the InterContinental Shenzhen is the kind of place where your kids will be asking when they can come back. 9009 Shennan Avenue, Nanshan, Shenzhen 🚇 About a 10-second walk from Exit C of OCT Station, Metro Line 1

Janu derives its name from the Sanskrit word for soul. As Aman’s sister brand, it diverges from Aman's signature secluded retreats, embracing connection, vibrancy, and gentle social wellness. Janu isn’t a budget alternative to Aman but rather a fresh, innovative concept targeted at a new generation of urban travelers. While Aman seeks remote, tranquil sanctuaries, Janu positions itself in bustling city centers, creating serene, adaptable environments amidst urban energy. Janu’s flagship property in Tokyo’s Azabudai Hills beautifully embodies this vision. Situated within the vibrant Azabudai Hills, a new district blending skyscrapers, green spaces, and cultural hubs, Janu stands as the only ultra-luxury hotel in the area. Conveniently located next to a flagship FamilyMart store, guests can seamlessly explore local life before retreating to the hotel. This connection to urban life is central to Janu’s ethos. Its design integrates with the surrounding cityscape, providing striking views of Tokyo Tower and the skyline while maintaining its own tranquil atmosphere. Upon entering the lobby, you’re greeted by expansive floor-to-ceiling windows framing Tokyo Tower. By day, the city unfolds beyond the glass, and by evening, the tower's illuminated charm serves as a natural centerpiece. The decor is minimalist, featuring soft light, stone accents, and natural timber. The lobby is not merely a pathway but a serene introduction to the hotel’s urban refuge. Designed by JMG studio, Janu’s architecture employs natural materials and the concept of borrowed scenery, but with a focus on flow and connectivity rather than Aman’s signature secluded spaces. Timber slats, stylish art lamps, and harmonious contrasts between East and West reflect understated elegance. Open social spaces blend warmth and sophistication, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The 55 sqm Deluxe Room echoes this refined aesthetic, bathed in amber and earthy hues. Timber screens divide the living and sleeping areas, while textured panels behind the bed evoke a modern ukiyo-e tableau with soft lighting. The private terrace, a rare luxury in Tokyo, transforms the cityscape into a space you can live in. The interior features natural wood, matte volcanic stone, and linen fabrics, while the bathroom’s soaking tub offers a tranquil, immersive retreat. Janu’s crown jewel is its expansive 4,000 sqm wellness center. The bright, fully-equipped gym features yoga, Pilates, and spin studios, as well as a unique golf simulator. The 25-meter heated pool, bathed in sunlight, offers a peaceful escape. This is where Janu’s vision of “social wellness” comes alive. Culinary options abound, with nine distinct dining venues offering an array of cuisines, including a grill, Italian, Japanese kaiseki, Cantonese dishes, and a patisserie. Breakfast caters to diverse tastes with refined Japanese and generous continental options, ensuring every palate is satisfied. Janu is just beginning its journey, with upcoming projects in Dubai, Montenegro, and island locales. Unlike Aman, which seeks remote, hidden retreats, Janu establishes itself in prime urban locations. Rumors of a Shenzhen Bay expansion suggest exciting prospects for Janu's introduction to mainland China. It’s a brand worth watching as it redefines the concept of luxury urban escapes.
Very nice place have so many attractions, rides and scenic view
Anonymous userit is great to visit .cultural heritage charming village with lantern .recommended to do at night .so pretty .very lively with lots of food stall
_TI***mrShenzhen truly lives up to its reputation as the vanguard of reform and opening up, transforming itself from a small fishing village into an international metropolis in 40 years. With APEC just around the corner, I can feel the vibrant atmosphere of Shenzhen's rapid development.
M84***26Qianhai boasts a one-stop shopping, dining, and entertainment district with beautiful bay views, perfect for watching the sunset. The Bay Eye Ferris wheel is nearby. There are fountain and light shows in the evenings; it gets quite crowded on holidays and weekends, so arrive early for a front-row seat.
卡皮巴拉游世界it was quite fun, though because of language barrier especially for introverts, i mostly just participate in the parade and npc short interaction as well as photo with them. If you just want to watch performances, this place is not bad, i recommend waiting for promotion sales cause it will be cheaper here ( i got a 2 days ticket i think with promotion price, which is cheaper than buying just 2 seperately)
Anonymous userThe scenery is beautiful, and you can come and play whenever you have time. The miniature landscape area is perfect for taking photos and checking in. The ethnic cultural experience in the folk village is also very fun. In the Splendid Prosperity area, there are many NPCs you can interact with to get silver notes, making for a great experience.
