The Central House Istanbul Taksim

The hotel is very clean and the staffs are very friendly and accommodating but since it was my first time to stay in a room with other people ( strangers) i didn’t know that I will be disappointed. People in the same room where I stayed has no consideration. Too noisy and doesn’t care if they are already disturbing the other people in the room

Unfortunately it’s not Wabi Hostels Istanbul anymore. They change the host company as well as its name to The Central House Istanbul Taksim and now it’s totally different!! The cozy wibe of Wabi’s is gone completely! Rooftop is closed, there is reconstruction happening right during the morning when you would like to not be bothered and use bathroom at least, so in morning hours before checking out time there is also cleaning going on in that area, very inconvenient and not clever. It seems that new company doesn’t think about guests, just business. Breakfast is not there as well, now you would be handed (not allowed to take by yourself) a sandwich, one apple or orange and burning hot tea/coffee right into your hands without even a plate!!! there is no area to eat comfortably so you would eat it right where the small reception area is along with the stuff staring at you while on this process. Locker in the room used to be free and are also now with extra charge for the locker to close it, so comercial took over this place unfortunately. It was my favourite hostel in Istanbul! Now will be searching for another option to stay during my future visits;(

Stayed one night at 6-bed female dorm with private bathroom - absolutely loved it! There's a separate toilet and a shower, 2 bathroom sinks with a wide mirror, a hairdryer. There are windows as well in case you need some fresh air. The bed was extremely comfy; I slept like a log. Bear in mind, though, that your roommates are going to arrive and leave late/early, so it might be uncomfortable for light sleepers: equip yourself with some earplugs and you'll be golden.

Be prepared for dismissive staff! The woman at the bar during breakfast doesn't understand that she's supposed to be helping guests feel comfortable. Instead, she acts like a Cerberus, is rude, and prevents guests from getting the food and drinks they need! Not only is there no cuts of meat (sausage or ham) at breakfast, there are no tomatoes or fruit—they don't even let you take a full portion of what's available! Unfortunately, although I was placed on the bottom bed, it was right next to the door and shower stalls - because of this it was very noisy - there should be no beds in this part of the room at all, since not only are the showers and sinks not separated by a door, but the entrance door to the room is also right next to the bed!

Very cozy hostel, located close to Taksim metro station (less then 10 mins walk). Nice view from the rooftop, simple breakfast, towels for an extra charge. Dorm for 6 persons has enough space. Bang for the buck.

It's easy to find. Close to bus stop and some good restaurants including Indonesian Restaurant. Slept well last night. Thanksss 💕😊
