The Blossom Kumamoto

The room was incredibly spacious! Being right above a large shopping mall and next to the subway station made getting around super convenient. The hotel breakfast was amazing, truly exceeding expectations. This hotel offers fantastic value for money and is highly recommended!

This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my 10-night trip. It's incredibly convenient if you're traveling by JR, as I was able to exchange all my JAPASS vouchers right here. It's never crowded; by 8 PM, it's completely empty, allowing you to leisurely pick your seats and train times. Downstairs, you'll find the famous conveyor belt sushi and tonkatsu. The room design is also very practical and spacious. This is a must-stay in Kumamoto, and Aline is also conveniently located right below the hotel. Absolutely perfect!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, conveniently situated right next to JR Kumamoto Station. Downstairs, you'll find the AMU PLAZA shopping mall, offering a wide array of dining and shopping options. The hotel itself is relatively new, and the rooms are quite spacious by Japanese standards. The bathroom features a separate wet and dry area and is immaculately clean. The mattress is comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent. Plus, there's a hot spring bath on the 9th floor.

Facilities: The hotel, built in 2021, is quite new. I stayed on the fifth floor, and they have ice makers and water dispensers, so it's fine even if your room doesn't come with complimentary water. This is also the only hotel where you can add an extra bed and the room is 40 square meters. They even allow luggage storage until my next stay. I've checked with all the surrounding five-star hotels, and they either have small rooms, expensive rooms, don't allow extra beds, or can't store luggage for an extended period. This is truly a major highlight! Hygiene: I have to complain about the hygiene. In room 507, the bathroom sink had no cover, and there were many tiny flying insects inside. I sprayed mosquito repellent here, and it was only when I saw many dead insects at the opening that I realized the issue. My son even got bitten and had bumps on his chest. Environment: It's super convenient, only 150 meters from Hakata Chikushi-guchi. Yodobashi Camera is right across the street, so you can shop 'til you drop! There are also many convenience stores nearby. Service: The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's fine for a one-day stay. I highly recommend the breakfast coffee – it's very rich.

Exceeded expectations, this might be the best hotel in Kumamoto. The location is unbeatable, right next to Kumamoto JR Station/Shinkansen, with a large shopping mall downstairs. You can also take a bus or tram from downstairs directly to Kumamoto Bus Terminal in about ten minutes.

Staying near JR stations throughout Kyushu is always a good idea, and this hotel is a perfect example. It's right outside the station and connected to Amu Plaza, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. It's also super easy to buy a bus day pass at the JR station, and both the tram and bus stops are right at the hotel's doorstep. The location is absolutely fantastic. You can find Kyushu's best sushi, Katsu-retsu Tei Tonkatsu, and delicious yakitori places all nearby without the usual long queues. The hotel environment is lovely; our triple room was spacious. The lobby staff provided very attentive service, and there's even a large public bath. After a long day of sightseeing, a soak in the hot spring was incredibly relaxing.

The hotel is super convenient, right outside the right-hand exit of JR Kumamoto Station. There's a mall directly below the hotel, offering one-stop shopping, dining, and a supermarket. The room isn't huge, but there's enough space to open two large suitcases. The hotel itself is beautiful, nice, and quiet, and it has a public hot spring. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!
