The hotel's location is fantastic. It's just about 30 meters to the right from the East Exit of JR Kumamoto Station, and you can spot the hotel entrance sign. The hotel shares a building with Kumamoto AMU Plaza, so after checking in, you can seamlessly dive into shopping and dining. The JR Station, Kumamoto Tram Station, and the Tourist Information Center are all within easy walking distance. There's also a covered walkway connecting the JR Station exit to the hotel entrance, so you don't have to worry about bad weather. The triple room we booked wasn't small for a Japanese hotel. Plus, the hotel has a large public bath and an indoor hot spring. The only minor drawback was the breakfast – it was a bit uninspiring and stayed pretty much the same during our four-night stay.

We were only here for one night but the location is perfect as it’s right at Kumamoto Station, so it couldn't be easier to get to, and having the Amu Plaza mall right there for shopping and food was so convenient. Being on the higher floors, the views of the city are amazing. The rooms feel very modern and spacious, but the free onsen (public bath) was the best part. It was definitely a great way to relax at the end of the day. It was handy having convenience stores, restaurants and a mall just a few steps away.

Beautiful hotel with Mountain Views. The hotel looks spectacular and is very clean. The room is very spacious. Location is perfect as it shares the same building as the mall. You can use the lift which brings you directly to the mall. The mall has shops like Uniqlo, ABC Mart and many more, including a food court with various food options. There are 3 washing machines in both the male & female public onsen area, however it is pretty difficult to get a chance to wash your clothes. The hotel seems like a popular wedding venue, however it does not disrupt the stay as the guests do not seem to linger in the lobby at all. There's a Nescafé coffee machine which you can help yourself to outside the public onsen, along with Kumamoto's fresh spring water tap for drinking. For parking, please avoid the carpark infront of the mall as it is expensive. If you're facing the mall, the hotel's carpark is at the left side basement of the mall. The hotel provides a discounted price at off-peak periods. It's best to leave your hotel before 12 noon. It is paid parking and there's a ticket machine at the basement entrance of the hotel. The hotel location is perfect as it is also very close to a station.

Right outside Kumamoto Station, it's super convenient as it's connected to a mall. There's a FamilyMart and various restaurants downstairs, like ramen shops and izakayas, and plenty more to eat inside the mall too. The hotel service is great, and you can even enjoy a hot spring bath!

Right outside Kumamoto train station, this hotel immediately catches your eye with its cool, modern entrance – definitely not your typical hotel facade. There are tons of dining and shopping options available, catering to all kinds of tastes and budgets. It's amazing that such a modern building even has a natural hot spring! My only regret is that there's no open-air bath, so I just soaked indoors for a bit. On the way out, they have some really delicious capsule coffee too.

Extremely convenient! It's just a one-minute walk from the Kumamoto Station exit – turn right and you're there. The hotel is in the same building as AMU Plaza. Although it's right above the train tracks, it's surprisingly quiet. There's so much to eat, see, and shop for both inside and outside AMU Plaza; you could easily spend a leisurely day or two here just enjoying life. Unfortunately, my trip was rushed this time, as I had to leave early in the morning for Mount Aso. The breakfast was excellent, especially the *ochazuke* (rice in tea); on a chilly winter morning, something warm like that is really comforting. The public bath wasn't crowded, and you could even check the laundry room's progress on the TV. One minor point: there was no shelf next to the toilet – if you know, you know. The self-service luggage storage was also very handy.
