Fantastic location, rooms were clean and spacious. The codes for the doors were slightly temperamental but always worked. My only complaint is the cleaner turned up at 9.30am and knocking on the door when check out is 11am. There was another day she turned up at 9am and we were only just leaving the room.

This place isn’t cheap and it’s had amazing photos taken. But the dream stops there. Dirty bathrooms - mould / awful tech entry is a joke. When you try and reason with owners over issues that allege you are threatening them. Entry system had a total melt down and it took 50 minutes to get in room during my stay. They had totally reset the styles and give me new codes. I wasn’t best pleased . Tv didn’t work properly and missed some sport I had planned on watching. The owners just weren’t interested in sorting the problem. Total disgraceful customer service. Them not being on site and obviously a long way away doesn’t help sort issues. You’d be better choosing top quality places in Bergamo. I’ve supped here over 10 times and this is the first time I’ve had problems. The shower was filthy. Mould everywhere- not been cleaned properly in months. Walls in main bedroom are marked with stains. Not a good experience. See attached pics

Rude customer service. I hope you Will not have any issues with The hotel., they are not interested in helping with problems, just cared If they had my payment and thats all

For a self check in hotel (no staff on site) it has good support by telephone ( when we couldn’t open the heavy entrance door with digital key pad). The room was very spacious with comfortable bed and air conditioning. Also closed to parking garage in walking distance - with suitcase. it is very central, for the CBD and the old town, either by walking up, taking the funicular or the bus. Close to a number of cafes, bars and restaurants.

The checkin process was non-existent, we had to call the number provided as we couldn’t get into the building, and we were told we can’t get in before the checkin time (3pm), despite me emailing them several times in the days prior to the arrival to mention the time we will arrive to drop our luggage. We were told just to leave the luggage in a communal room where basically anyone could have taken them… therefore was rather unsafe, but nevertheless we were already there and had no other place to leave them, so we dropped them there. Room-wise, the TV didn’t work properly (the image was blurred almost every 3 seconds, probably the Tv needs servicing/replacing) and the WiFi didn’t work (was showing ‘no internet’ constantly). We heard other people shouting over the phone to the ‘reception’ (basically there’s no reception from what we’ve seen, it’s just the number we had from the booking) to complain about other things, so probably others haven’t had the best time there either. Because of the issue with the ‘no reception’ and using a code to get in and out of the building, we had the same issue with the luggage when we left as when we arrived- we couldn’t leave it anywhere as upon checkout our code wouldn’t have worked anymore, so we had to pay extra at a luggage facility in the city to leave the bags for a few hours. Based on our overall experience, can’t say we’d use this accommodation again.

Too many mosquitos, we dont know why

After multiple attempts to comply with pre check we found no one on site to help us (or. By phone). We left and went by train to our next destination.

We reserved a unit with two queen beds for three adults. The room had only one queen bed. There was no staff to help, and the number provided was not in service. Even the "reception" number on the room phone went nowhere. No response to texts. We tried to contact someone for hours, and eventually left to find last minute accommodations elsewhere. I'm sure for anyone without any issues it may work great, but good luck if there is a problem.

We went for an important wedding. Difficult a Dea: door work erratically and one has impression to be locked out! Steep stair; not for suitcases The room was dirty The loo seat was broken There was non soap and the response was “room service has left for the day” Not to be recommended especially at the steep price requested
