We had booked a “super lux studio” for 2 adults and 2 children. Alarm bells went off when we came to the building since the place was quite worn down. We were really disappointed when we got in the apartment. It was freezing cold, the windows would not shut, the walls and carpet was stained, it smelled terrible and there was not kitchen utilities for a family of four. The walls were paper thin and parties going on all over.
We called the receptionist and he came over quit quickly. He was really serviceminded and took us to their buildings in Duke Street to view other rooms. These rooms were of a much higher standard, but was actually what we expected from the price we paid.
It was not ideal having to move a family on a Friday night after traveling the whole day, and they shouldn’t have put us in the apartment in Seel Street in the beginning, but we are still happy with the solution they came up with, and the receptionist was serviceminded and helpful.
