Excellent location in the city center, nice view on the park. Relatively silent in the sense that you can hear the next room, but the people were not noisy, so it was very good.

Very poor check-in experience, super poor front desk service, check out time at 12 o'clock, because I was 25 minutes late, they charged an extra 80 euros for late check out, and even had an argument with the customer at the front desk. It was really bad. I don’t know how to rate this hotel as a four-star hotel. The hotel manager was even more unreasonable. I was packing my luggage, and around 12:22, he actually rushed into the room. It was quite funny.

The hotel was well situated, but I was robbed by the maid, who stole €100 from my bag while I went for coffee for about 30 minutes. I tried to speak to the hotel manager where I was still humiliated and they said they doubted my word, I went to the police and they also treated me badly, horrible breakfast, old room, bad hard bed with bad pillows, in other words, I don't recommend it at all ! Run away from this hotel! ————————— Hotel até bem situado porém fui roubada pela camareira ela roubou 100€ de dentro da minha bolsa enquanto eu fui tomar café cerca de 30min. Tentei falar com o gerente do hotel onde ainda fui humilhada e disseram duvidar da minha palavra, fui na polícia e também me trataram mal, café da manhã horrível, quarto velho, cama ruim dura com travesseiros ruins, ou seja, não recomendo de forma alguma! Fujam desse hotel! ———————— L'hôtel était bien situé, mais la femme de ménage m'a volé 100 € dans mon sac pendant que j'allais prendre un café pendant environ 30 minutes. J'ai essayé de parler au directeur de l'hôtel où j'étais encore humilié et ils ont dit qu'ils doutaient de ma parole, je suis allé voir la police et ils m'ont aussi mal traité, petit déjeuner horrible, chambre vieille, mauvais lit dur avec de mauvais oreillers, en d'autres termes, Je ne le recommande pas du tout ! Fuyez cet hôtel !

Excellent hotel and excellent staff. Perfectly renovated rooms in perfect order with all amenities present. Nice views, good airconditioning, rain shower, bar. Stayed a week and was very pleasantly surprised. Great location too, at a park and near the very center of Reggio, a quaint and beautiful town. Would definitely return, also when traveling to Bologna, Modena or Parma. This town and the Mercure Astoria are highly recommended.
