The Riad - Adults Only

Excellent service and very helpful. Room was spotlessly clean. We felt like we were the only guests in the hotel. This hotel has a lot of charm. The lady at the front desk absolutely been over backwards to secure massages for us at the hotel. It was wonderful.

the Riad is a nicely decorated small inn in Tarifa....some of the staff are much easier to deal with than others....we rented a small room on the first floor....very quiet, except for people who live in the apartment above that room...the room is like sleeping in a Moroccan designed cave...not nearly enough lightning to see into your suitcase....the small window into the courtyard brings some light, if it's sunny...the room is quite small...the bathtub is at the foot of the bed...no curtain or glass door....water goes everywhere.. the sink is also in the main room...toilet cubicle was cleanish, but smelled like sewerage...there was a small courtyard to sit in which was nice, but water from plants all over the floor....first morning I did not see it and took a bad fall...2 days later, again another big puddle....the rooftop was CLOSED!!!! no kettle in room or a coffee and tea station for guests....I'm very surprised that it is ranked #1.....there is really no customer service at all...no one is there after 7pm and no one returns until 9am....room was cleanish....there was a large shelf next to stonewall that was constantly dirty...parking was 5 minutes away, but be prepared to lug it up a steep hill ...

I absolutely loved this boutique hotel, the room and decor were fabulous and the staff - Serafin, Marisa, Georgina and Tamara were so pleasant and helpful. I had a massage there too which was fantastic- can’t wait to return. Thank you all.

We received a warm welcome to The Riad Tarifa and were graciously helped up the stairs to our room. The room, in this 17th century historic building, was modern, chic and simply gorgeous. The attention to detail in decor, amenities and comfort was absolutely incredible. The included breakfast was a bonus. Highly recommend.

From our very warm welcome from Marisa, we were we enchanted by The Riad, Tarifa! Tucked away on a cobblestone street in the centre of the old town, it was a delight! Warm and fragrant, with a relaxing vibe. The perfect place to relax! Our room overlooked the breakfast terrace on one side and the atrium of the hotel on the other. Very comfortable bed so welcoming after a day wandering the town and beach. A great location close to wonderful restaurants, bars and shops. Marisa was so helpful providing us with a local map and suggestions for eating! We tried each of her picks and loved them! Thank you Marisa for you caring and personal attention! We will love to come back next time we are in the area!

It’s been a long time since I went to a hotel where I was made to feel this way, its good old fashion personal hospitality that is lost in most places, I would say better then most 5 stars I’ve been to recently. Your not just a number here, you matter! A boutique experience, the decor is amazing, the ambience is so relaxing, the attention to details is second to none. I have stayed in many places in Tarifa over the span of 20 year and this is by far was the best place I have been. Central but quiet Location as well! But what made this truly a unique experience was the Hammam. It was literally incredible and almost transformative for us, we left feeling rejuvenated and renewed. Both hosts truly know what they are doing, I highly recommend! Thank you for a great time. ☺️

We stayed at The Riad for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The hotel is small, but perfectly formed and in a great central location of the old town in a quiet street a few minutes walk from St Matthews Church. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A sumptuous breakfast is included with a wide selection of items and the best tortilla I have ever tasted. Our room was spacious with dual aspect windows overlooking the internal courtyard and the street. There is good outside space on the roof terrace with views over the town. We would highly recommend this hotel and would return should we revisit Tarifa.

Beautiful oasis of calm and wonderful staff! I booked my parents in to stay here and there were not disappointed! Lovely roof terrace and also a Ham. Perfect location just seconds from the main street in the old town. Highly recommended :-).
