Lukang Decang Temple

Temple History According to records, the Temple of King Ksitigarbha was originally a small grass-hued temple. In the 22nd year of Qianlong’s reign, after Sichuan Tianzhu Zunyan invited Ksitigarbha King’s golden body to enshrine it, the incense gradually flourished. buildings seen. There is also a very famous banyan tree in front of the Kizangwang Temple. It is said to be about 9 meters high, 3 meters in diameter at breast height, about 50 square meters in canopy, and about 250 years old. According to legend, "Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva" belongs to the god of yin and yang, so this banyan tree was planted with banyan branches upside down, commonly known as "inverted banyan", which belongs to "yin tree".
