Glad we didn't make a special trip

We walked back from the very boring scruffy town and passed the gate on the way to our hotel. It's an OK arch stuck in the middle of some main roads nothing more to say about it. really.

Not worth the walk

Couldn't get excited about this. An old Arab gate at the top of the town. Nothing else around it. Look at it if you are at that part of town but don't walk too far

Very interesting five minute stop

The history of Ciudad Real is very interesting and this remaining entrance through what was a wall around the entire city is quite fascinating. There is a bit of signage but only in Spanish so its at ...
