Getting There - Take the high speed train from Shanghai to Deqing. Around 200 RMB for 2 pax Attractions - Moganshan National Bamboo Forest and other outdoor activities (hiking, temples) Hotels - Emerald Whisper Hotel or other boutique hotels in nature (can be expensive depending on if you want to stay on the mountain or not). Food & Restaurants - Mostly Chinese local food, Old Station Coffee shop The Mogan bamboo forest is 115 RMB per person and includes a shuttle from the ticket office up the mountain to the scenic point. You can also choose to take another mini bus to drop you at selected locations inside the park at an additional cost (or you can walk in the nature). There are many other tourist sites to visit within Zheijing province but it is recommended to use a car to go from place to place or Didi (depending on how long you stay there). #nationalpark

If all you are looking for is a green scenery with fresh air, then Mogashan is the perfect place. this city has amazing trails for you to walk and enjoy the mountains, vegetation and beautiful bamboo forest. there are variety of hotel with great views. downtown is small and lovely with many coffee shops, souvenirs stores and Bars! in spring expect lots of flowers as you can see in my pictures. Moganshan Scenic Area is located in Deqing County, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, belonging to the extension of Tianmu Mountain, with the main peak Ta Mountain at an altitude of 758 meters. The central area of Moganshan Scenic Area covers about 4000 acres, with main attractions including Jianchi, Luhuadang, Wuling Village, Xuguangtai, Dicuitan, Dakeng, Moganshan Lake, etc. The architectural landscape formed by more than 200 houses and villas on the mountain is known as the 'World Architecture Museum'. The vegetation of Moganshan Scenic Area belongs to the northern subzone of the mid-subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest, with a forest coverage rate of up to 93.5%, including 136 families, 374 genera, and 614 species of vascular plants, among which there are more than ten kinds of national key protected plants and more than 200 famous old trees. There are also 16 families and more than 40 species of mammals, 27 families and more than 60 species of birds, 10 families and 24 species of reptiles, 7 families and more than 10 species of amphibians, and 153 families and 1102 species of insects in the Moganshan Scenic Area. Continue to the Dakeng Scenic Area, the view from the top of the mountain to the clouds sweeps away all fatigue, the continuous mountains change the wonderful depth of daylight due to the heavy clouds, which is very beautiful. Continue to hike, pass through the villa group, Luhua Dang, Jianchi Scenic Area, and come to the last downhill section. Due to continuous heavy rain, the mountain water rushing down from Jianchi winds through the bamboo forest, and many sections of the road are flooded, and the original mud road without steps is even more muddy.
