Nice lighthouse
The lighthouse it self is nice but what is great is the surrounding area. The stunning rocky coastline and it is also a good place for a short hike.
You can't get in and it's simple
It is not a beautiful lighter, nor can you get inside. That is, the views of the sea are spectacular. It deserves to fall down, breathe clean air, see the waves blow against the rocks and see the birds away...
it's not orange.
There are several small lighthouses when traveling east on the loop from Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon in southern Iceland. The route in this area was only orange lighthouses, so this white and blue lighthouse was a little fresh. There is nothing around, but I think it's a good idea to stop by as a place to stop while driving with the empty scenery.
beautiful road
If you have the suitable car the track is very panoramic, you will meet, papers, horses and sheep. The last track is better to walk.
Good point for a short stay
If you are going through the Ring Road, then it doesn't cost anything to stop a moment to sweep your legs and admire a beautiful panorama. The headlight itself is not big. At least it is not orange as many others! ...
