Victorian glory

This elegant bandstand from 1895 sums up the genteel atmosphere that must have prevailed in those times. The platform itself is padlocked but the stand looks impressive at all times of the day.

Attractive bandstand situated yards from the Leas Hall on the cliff tops in Folkestone. Excellent Blues Band were playing when we were there. It must be a areat place to play, and be in the audience...

Pretty

Pretty band stand along the leas. Good to remember where you're parking spot is or for a meeting place! I've never seen it being used however
