the Fukushima prefectural office seems to have been built on the site of Fukushima castle.

There is a signboard in front of the Fukushima Prefectural Office that displays the explanation of Fukushima Castle. Apparently, this area seems to be the place where Fukushima Castle was. However, unless there is a signboard now, I don't know it is the ruins of the castle.

This Fukushima Castle Ruins is about 25 minutes southeast of the east exit of Fukushima Station. It will be along the Abukuma River. This castle ruins currently have the Fukushima Prefectural Office. A part of the earthworks remains behind the prefectural office in the remains of the castle. It is also maintained as a former garden as Mijiyama Park.

    Remaining structure はわずか

    Original Text

Originally, there was no castle tower in Fukushima Castle and a Jinya was built. Currently, the site is a prefectural office, and there are few remains left. There are a few earthworks and empty moats left on the south side of the prefectural office, so I feel a little remnant.

On the way to the Fukushima Prefectural Government Building on the Prefectural Government Street, there is a stone pillar of the Otemon Ruins. If you go straight, you will find the Fukushima Prefectural Government Building and the West Government Building on the right. It seems that there was Fukushima Castle mainly on the current Fuku Now, what you can see as the castle ruins is a part of the earthworks on the south side of the prefectural office west government building and the Autumn Leaf Mountain Park on the left side of the prefectural office main government building. First of all, I went to Kohayama Park, but due to the damage of the typhoon, it was prohibited from entering the garden due to the repair work, and it was a tour from the surroundings. There are trees with autumn leaves such as cherry blossoms and enter the park ...
