This church is very close to the hotel we stayed in, just at the entrance of Love Lane, there was no one when we walked through, and a cleaning staff greeted us to enter. Entering the hall, there are two white statues of angels at the door, and a plate is in hand, which is to provide Christians with convenience for doing good. The hall is very quiet, the white environment is particularly elegant, and there is a large organ on the door. The only downside is that the exterior building is fooled by a side of the light that is broken, affecting the visual effect, which is a bit regrettable.
This ancient church is one of several colonial-era buildings in the area near the sea in Penang. The Gothic elegant appearance, solemn and tranquil, accompanied by the coconut wind and sea shadow is beautiful.
The cathedral was founded by Father Garno in 1786 and moved from Church Street to Warren Street in 1857. Today the building next to the church is built by Father Manisou.
The chapel is across the street from Guangming, on the basis of St George's Church, a white Protestant church. Founded by Sir Francis, also the people who built Fort Cornwall in Penang, the walls of the church are embedded in history. There are two bell towers, an altar and a pipe organ.
Just at the north exit of Love Lane between the Blue House and the Penang Museum, a peaceful courtyard and several white Gothic buildings. It is the main church of the Catholic Diocese of Penang. Passing by several times, there are believers doing their homework. Most of the believers are Chinese. The scenery is very beautiful.
