Walk the PeakA trip to Victoria Peak is a must for visitors to Hong Kong. Many ride up the Peak Tram and enjoy the view from there but don't know there's much more to see. A circle route takes you all the way around the Peak, giving a view in every direction. Parts of the trail go through well established forest and it feels more like being in the jungle than in the middle of a densely populated city. It's definitely one of the best places to see the skylines of Central and Kowloon, separated by Victoria Harbour. The circle takes about an hour at a reasonable walking pace. Weather has a big impact on scenery view. Too bad on my trip to The Peak as socked with smog. The tram ride is excellent and the Marketplace is good for souvenirs.
