It is pronounced as' nishimikado. '
Original Text
Until recently, it was pronounced "Nishigomon". It's difficult. It is a monument built by an organization called the Kamakura Youth Group in the Taisho era. It is a stone monument of the gate of the Okura Shogunate of Yoritomo.
It is said that the gates were set up in the north, south, east and west of the Okura Imperial Palace, and the residences of influential gokenin were built around them to protect each gate of the Imperial Palace. Nishimikado is now the place name. Under the hill of the Hokkedo site where Yoritomo's tomb is located, in front of the fence of the elementary and junior high school site attached to Yokohama National University, there is only a stone monument of the Nishimimon Historic Site, which describes the history of the Kamakura Town Youth Group in the Taisho Period.
