Former Atago Shrine, the road to drive is very narrow
Original Text
In Toyota genuine navigation system, only a few hundred meters in front of me. Therefore, I visited by private car with the guidance of GOOGLE MAP. It was a narrow road with one car from hundreds of meters before the shrine. Of course, it is impossible to pass each other with an oncoming vehicle. The deities are the Fire God, Izanami God, and Okuninushi God, and Shikinaisha. The fact that it is described in the Engishiki at Atako Shrine is the solicitation source of Atago Shrine in Kyoto City.
This is old and looks like the main family. A few days before the Honnoji Incident, Akechi Mitsuhide went to Atago Shrine because there was an episode in which he pulled a whale many times and continued to be evil. I knew that I prayed at Atago Shrine in Kyoto, but I thought that this one had a longer history and I prayed here. Atago Shrine is a shrine that is cautious about fire and avoids fire. Was it a worship to kill Nobunaga's neck without setting off fire in the Honnoji Incident? It looks like a forest with mussels again.
Atago Shrine is located at the western foot of Mt. Ushimatsu. There is also a shrine of the same name in Kyoto City, which is more famous, but it seems that Atago Shrine in Kameoka was built about 200 years ago. I don't know if it's really the main shrine of Atago, but it's surrounded by a thick tree 々 at the foot of the mountain and is wrapped in a sacred atmosphere.
Atago Shrine in Kameoka City is a solicitation from Atago Shrine (Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) in Mt. Atago in the shrine legend, and therefore it is also called "former Atago" or "Atago's main shrine". Like Atago Shrine in Mt. Atago, it is still worshiped as "Three-Pilgrimage to Atago", saying that if you visit by the age of 3, you will not be caught in a fire for the rest of your life. The hall of worship has a structure like a dance hall, and the main hall is on the north side. The main shrine built in the Kamakura period is exactly inside the cover, but you can see the inside well, so be sure to visit it.
Atago Shrine in Kameoka, Kyoto. It is also called former Atago because there is a legend that Atago Shrine in Kyoto was solicited from here. Although it is a simple building in the main shrine, it is an important cultural property built in the Kamakura period. There are famous cedar and fir trees in the precincts. However, the road is quite narrow, so be careful with cars.
