A Must See but Disappointing from Land
We tried to see the Bagnell Dam from the Overlook but the trees obstructed our view. We then went down to the bottom area to view it and there was a sign warning us that Black Vultures could damage y...
The damn is cool but not much else unless you are hungry.
The damn is neat, the town has a lot of shops out of business. Do not go to the overlook. You can’t see any of the dam because the trees and brush are so tall. .
Interesting
We saw the damn when we did the bike rally in town, it was interesting. Not to much to see on the other side of the damn but we did go for a nice ride.
Ozark trip
The displays and information about the history of the dam was impressive! Driving across was fun to experience!

There is no tour of the dam anymore I guess (due to security concerns?) so you basically go to one end and look at some plaques and then you can drive to the other end where the “scenic overlook” is a...
