Very nice park with Sandy beach area. Not for swimming. Nice place to catch your breath from walking around city. Animal friendly.

Beautiful white rocky beach and peaceful during the downswing of the season. Easy to find as well with plenty of historic info!
does not disappoint
No matter how long ago your last visit was, this park does not disappoint with its views. Whether cloudy and windy or warm and sunny, the sand and view of the bridge cannot be beat.

The park had nice bathrooms that are well-maintained and clean. A big plus. They had nice picnic tables, although there was visitors (ducks, geese and squirrels). The park has free parking in front. A...
