Government House

The Governor's Mansion in Victoria, Australia. Located within Melbourne's King's Park (Kings Domain parklands), close to the Royal Botanic Garden. 1901-1930, the residence was once the residence of the Governor of Australia. It is not open to the public now, it can only be seen from a distance. We also saw it from the English Tourism APP and went there. Stopped by the guards to explain the situation, took a few photos outside, and the subjective tower was covered by lush trees and could not be photographed. The next day, the main building and courtyard were photographed across the fence at the Royal Botanic Garden.

The Governor's House was completed in 1876 and was designed by the Red Cross for storing and distributing war materials during the First World War. During the Great Depression (1931-1934), it was a Melbourne Girls' School, and the ballroom and living room were classrooms for students until 1933. In May 1934, when Huntingfield was appointed as Governor of Victoria, it was restored to a government office until now. Every year on National Day (January 26), it is free to the public and tourists.

The exterior building is very distinctive, the surrounding scenery is very good, the trees are high and lush, it is worth seeing!

There is no wall in the Victorian government's governor's house, and there are no guards in uniform and guns, and everything is so casual and quiet here, it is worth seeing.
