Before the name was taken, に Toda Sign
Original Text
In front of Natori Station, it is not a town called Natori, but a place name called Masuda. Originally, the name Masuda seems to have been the name of the center of this area.
I walked from Tatekoshi Station to Natori Station and found it while walking and stopped by. It is said that Oshu Road was established in the third year of Gyeongan with the opening of it. There is only an explanation board now, but I was able to read the explanation and deepen my knowledge ○
On the way back from my errand, I went to the site of Masuda Station in Natori City. When I thought it was at the nearby Masuda Shrine, it was in the park next door.
I passed by when I traveled on the old Oshu Kaido by running. It seems that there was a northern inspection mansion in this place. In the Meiji era, it changed into a village office and a town hall, and you can see that this was literally the center of the city of Masuda.
