It is quite steep because it is accessible from the parking lot side. It's pretty tough when it snows. Please note that the 100-meijo stamp is located in a museum a little far away.

I was driving on National Highway 20 from Kofu to Hokuto City and went to see the information board. It is located along Prefectural Road 17 near Shinfu Station. The parking lot and the castle ruins were across the prefectural road.

There is also a large parking lot. Follow the tour route and look around. There is a commentary board at the highlights, which you can see well. The remains of Ote-Kagata Toraguchi, Crescent Moat, Inuimon-Kagata Toraguchi, etc. remain well. It is the ruins of the castle built by Katsuyori Takeda during the Sengoku period.

Shinfu Castle came out in the scene where Katsuyori Takeda appeared and headed for destruction when he read Shingen Takeda's novel. The history of the local castle was written that Katsuyori had only been in the castle for 68 days since it was built. I wondered if the history had changed when I fought there. However, the stairs to climb to the castle were difficult, so I took a rest many times on the way, but on the way back, I went down Otomezaka next to the stairs. I definitely want to go there once.
