Just this monument
There is a stele in front of Taiyuji’s west gate. He is an aristocrat in Heian Period. But I don’t know what a relation he had with this temple. Except this monument, I didn’t find any other mark.
I wanted you to install an explanation board so that you can understand the stone monument well.
Original Text
When I visited the temples near Osaka Station, when I tried to enter from the west gate, there was a stone monument on the right side in front of the gate. I wanted you to install an explanation board so that you can understand the stone monument well.
JR If you go from Osaka Station, I think the west gate of Taiyuji Temple will be the nearest entrance, but the stone monument is located at this west gate. This temple was built by expanding the temple built by Emperor Saga's Prince Genyu and Kobo Daishi. He is also said to be one of the models of Hikaru Genji.
There is no explanation at all about what kind of stone monument it is. I saw it because it was at the entrance of Taiyuji Temple, but I don't think I need to dare to see it.
Tayuji Temple, where the historic site of Genyu Koyuki is located, is located near the downtown area of Kita, Osaka. There are Daishido, which enshrines Kukai, Fudodo, which enshrines Fudo Myoo, and the tomb of Toyotomi Hideyoshi's concubine, Yododen, who committed suicide in the Osaka Natsunojin. The historic site of Minamoto no Yu is a stone monument in front of the gate of Taiyuji Temple. It is said that the Prince of Emperor Saga and the founder of Saga Genji, Sadaijin Kawahara, built the Shichido Gallery.
