A lovely little garden and memorial with a nice central fountain. After a busy spell of sightseeing nice to sit quietly and rest for a few moments.
Lovely Park and WWII Memorial
This is a small, flower filled park on the edge of the old city. It offers a place to pause and remember local residents who were in the resistance or sent to Nazi camps to die.

These to me are always sufficiently poignant to deserve a rating of ‘excellent’ a quiet little park which serves as a memorial to the ‘Martyrs of the Resistance’ and to the ‘Victims if Nazi Barbarity’...

A lovely memorial set in a lovely garden area in the middle of Sarlat, well worth a visit to pay your respects to those that have fallen in the second world war. Deep respect to all.
