The Horiuchi family residence is a wealthy farmer's house that served as the master of the former Horiuchi village. It is a large and high-quality house in the main building, and although it has a magnificent Japanese-style room, it is currently under renovation work and cannot be visited.

The houses of the wealthy farmers at the end of the 18th century are still under renovation and cannot be seen.

The Horiuchi family residence along the old road of Shiojiri-juku on Nakasendo is said to be a main building built at the end of the 18th century and is also an important cultural property of the country, so I went to see it. It was still under renovation work, and unfortunately I couldn't see the appearance.
