Jinhua Temple

The Jinhua Palace and the Yaowang Temple are "back to back" positions, the sides of the two buildings are connected. The main entrance of the Yaowang Temple faces Shennong Street, while Jinhua Palace faces Jinhua Street. At first I didn’t figure out why I was burning incense in the front, and incense in the back. I looked at the plaque carefully before I knew that one was the king of sacrifice and the other was the king of sacrifice.

Jinhuafu is a temple of Wang Ye, and the temples with Wang Ye as the core of the faith are not common in the local area, even in Taiwan where folk faith is flourishing. However, although this building seems inconspicuous, it has been more than a hundred years. The Tainan Municipal Government has listed it as a monument. It is also an important faith center for local residents. Every time they arrive at the birth of the god, they are always lively. Surrounded by Hai'an Road Art Street, there is still a nostalgic atmosphere nearby.

Many of the ancestors of Tainan are from Quanzhou, Fujian, Jinhua Mansion on Shennong Old Street. Its ancestral temple is in Jinjiang. There is also a cultural meaning of remembering the ancestors who crossed the sea to reclaim the sea. The old street outside the temple is full of ancient flavor.

Jinhuafu is located in the central and western district of Tainan City, and the temple is dedicated to the two kings of Guandi and Ma Li.
