A little too early for Autumn ... but beatiful!
Unfortunately we were two weeks early for autumn ... so, only the higher areas had changed colour. Definitely a peaceful place ... a great area to visit if you seen the rest of Japan.
It was in the tourist information pamphlet "Yuzuzuki no Sato", which seems to be a rare area where hot springs with different spring quality are scattered in a narrow area. It's a very good naming. Along the valley, there are hot springs with different temperatures, so you can fully enjoy the wonderful view of this wonderful valley while taking a hot spring of your own choice. There is also a day trip bath. It will be beautiful when the autumn leaves are beautiful. It was a green time in July, but it was a beautiful wash. Please go to the thunder waterfall with the back waterfall ...
Matsukawa Gorge is located about 16km by car from Suzaka Station. The red bridge "Takaibashi" in the valley surrounded by nature is a masterpiece. There is also an old-fashioned hot spring inn "Yamada Onsen".
On November 01, there was a one-way regulation of the road due to the influence of the typhoon, and the large bus stopped from Yamada Onsen hot spring, and the direction of the manza area from Takayama village was stopped due to landslides, and the red leaves were around Yamada Onsen hot spring, but the color was not good.
Especially recommended for the thunderfall of Matsukawa Valley

There are several waterfalls in the Matsukawa Valley. Especially Raitaki is wonderful. Also, the view from the observatory is nice at Hachitaki. Matsukawa Valley Onsen can also stop by and take a bath, and there is a large open-air bath in the valley.
