It is 1 of the burial mound on the hill of Kii Fudoki. There is a road to take a walk from the museum. It may be good to go see it while doing a quiz rally.
Kii Fudoki Hill is an old burial mound, but it has been a hill for a long time and the hiking course has been organized. It is accessible by bus from Wakayama Station.
"Kii Fudoki no Oka" is an area developed for the purpose of preserving and opening the national special historic site "Iwahashi Senzuka Kofun Group". From the "research museum" near this entrance to the west end of the promenade in the park is Mt. Dainichi, which is 141.8m at altitude. This mountain is located at the westernmost end of Iwahashi Hills, and is a very scenic place with a view of the Kinokawa Plain in the north and the city of Wakayama in the west. Regardless of the tumulus tour, it's a place where you can fully enjoy climbing up to this point just to see the scenery. ...
