My overall experience at the Potala Palace View Hotel (Potala Palace Branch) was extremely satisfying. The room directly faces the Potala Palace, offering a panoramic view where both the morning and night scenery have their unique charm. Just sitting by the window, you can quietly enjoy this breathtaking and peaceful sight. The hotel's rooftop restaurant also boasts a great location, allowing you to dine with views of the Potala Palace, creating a wonderful ambiance.
The staff were warm, attentive, and thoughtful. Whether during check-in or dining, any requests were promptly addressed and resolved, making me feel completely at ease. The overall environment is comfortable, and the service is considerate. It's an excellent choice for anyone visiting Lhasa who wants a comfortable stay with convenient access to views. Highly recommended.

Service: The lady at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. We had booked a twin room, but she proactively upgraded us to a family suite! The room was spacious and decorated with unique ethnic characteristics.
Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, even including a medical oxygen concentrator! They also provide nasal cannulas. Everything you could possibly need is available.
Environment: Excellent, and the soundproofing is good! There's also a Nepalese restaurant on the top floor of the hotel that many locals frequent, and hotel guests even get a discount! The hotel's location is also superb; it's only about a ten-minute walk to Jokhang Temple (at a leisurely pace, typical for Lhasa) and very close to the bus stop. There's also a delicious cold noodle shop right next to the hotel downstairs!
I would definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Lhasa!
The room facilities are very new, the hotel service is very good, and the housekeeper Nizhen is very attentive and considerate. You can also choose the hotel restaurant for meals. Overall, I feel that the price-performance ratio is good. The stone pot chicken is delicious. I will choose to stay here again when I come to Linzhi next time.

The room has a ******* style. I initially chose this place because it's convenient to all the attractions. After staying here, I found the hygiene to be excellent, and the staff were very warm and helpful, even thoughtfully asking if I needed assistance with altitude sickness. The Nepalese food was also delicious, so I extended my stay for another two days. It's really great value for money, highly recommended.
There’s room for improvement for the check in service. I provide my personal id card for check in but the customer service requested me the booking number which I find it ridiculous. The hotel was booked under my name and they supposed could have checked my booking right away. The customer service replied that it was relatively troublesome if only id is provided. I am clueless as to the standard of customer service provided by this 5 stars hotel. The rest of my stay is pleasant.
Motorcycle Travel 318, this hotel should be very comfortable. Many mainland hotels do not have massage chairs. It only costs more than 300 yuan and has a massage chair. The environment is also very good. I like it very much. The sweet little buns for breakfast are especially delicious. I think the breakfast is very rich, with a lot of porridge and vegetables. Love it. It would be great if there were such hotels in the mainland.

Our four-night stay at the St. Regis Lhasa Resort far exceeded our expectations. The service team was incredibly professional and attentive, and the butler service was prompt and reassuring. It was my birthday during our stay, and the hotel surprised me with a beautiful birthday cake – a thoughtful gesture that made the trip even more memorable. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance of Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the oxygen concentrator and humidifier were a great help in alleviating altitude sickness. Breakfast was very extensive, and the view of Potala Palace from the Tubo Bar on the sixth floor was simply stunning. This was a perfect stay, and I highly recommend it!
The room is large, clean, dry and wet separated, with above-ground and underground parking lots, friendly waiters, and central air conditioning. There is a Damai supermarket nearby, which has everything you need. I will come again if I have the chance.

The location is excellent, right opposite the Tibet Museum, just a 5-minute walk away. Parking at the hotel is very convenient; during the off-season, you can park directly in front of the lobby without even going down to the underground garage.
The front desk staff was very professional in helping us check in and thoughtfully reminded us to rest on our first day at high altitude.
The room has a traditional and warm ******* decor. When visiting Tibet in the off-season (December), it's essential to stay in a warm hotel to alleviate the discomfort of high altitude.
Even in Tibet, Shangri-La's breakfast maintains its usual high standard. Be sure to try the tsampa and homemade yogurt. We also happened to meet Kent, who is in charge of the restaurant, and he provided excellent service and recommended some itineraries for exploring Tibet.

GGuest UserThe lady at the front desk was incredibly enthusiastic, helping with luggage, offering a Hada scarf, and always ready to assist! The hotel always has Rhodiola rosea tea available, and you can take a pot to your room to drink whenever you like. The diffused oxygen supply also works exceptionally well – it's not one of those flimsy oxygen machines. The hotel breakfast is quite good too; while it can't compare to a branded star hotel, it has all the essentials, with a slight emphasis on Chinese-style dishes like tsampa, ******* noodles, sweet tea, yak butter tea, fruits, yogurt, and rice noodles, among others. Overall, I highly recommend it; it offers great value for money, and there's even a complimentary Mercedes shuttle to nearby attractions! The cafe next to the front desk, where you can grab light meals, is also excellent!

MM2hd6tksq****Honestly, this trip to Tibet was made so much better because of this hotel. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming, immediately taking all our luggage. Then came the sweet tea and ceremonial Hada scarves. Our bags were delivered to our room, and they helped with everything, even bringing fruit and thoughtful red bean soup. In the evenings, there were various ******* cultural experiences. The accommodation itself was excellent, with ample oxygen and heating. I slept soundly with the oxygen on at night. The restaurant also had a great ambiance. I'm extremely satisfied with this hotel stay and highly recommend everyone to try it out!
LLvlingfan007The room was spotless, and the view of the Potala Palace from here was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is perfectly situated right behind and to the right of the Potala Palace, making my windowsill my 'personal viewing platform': At midday, wisps of clouds drifted across its white walls and golden roofs, as if a breathing quilt was draped over the ancient palace; In the evening, the setting sun painted the Red Palace a honeyed hue, and as prayer flags fluttered in the wind, they seemed like countless hands applauding it; The moment the night lights came on, the entire palace suddenly 'came alive' – like an ancient ship moored in the darkness, carrying the stories of the Tubo Dynasty, slowly sailing towards the myriad lights of modern Lhasa. The complimentary biscuits were delicious, and the other snacks were great too! The butler and front desk service were warm and attentive. I arrived close to 2 PM, having not yet eaten, and the small eatery they recommended – the third shop after turning right from the hotel – was absolutely delightful.
