Hotels With Bar in Bolivar, Colombia

Great location. I liked the privacy for each dorm bed. The free yoga and various activities were great too. Unfortunately the shower didn’t drain super well, so I was standing on the water in the shower and had to rinse my feet when out of the shower.

We stayed 3 nights at this very comfortable hotel. We even wanted to extend one night and they were fully booked, which shows how popular they are. The decor from reception to lobby to room was a delight with full use of natural materials, giving a zen feel. The breakfast was buffet, but chouce of hot dished was limited. Also, we wanted to go for a swim at sunset, but the pool at this time was used as one big cocktail bar, literally dozens lounging in the,water, so that was disappointing.

This hotel has a great cost benefit, especially if you are traveling alone. It's worth a super, local with a super positive vibe

This is a 3.5/4 stars hotel. For the brand I was expecting a higher level of service and better facilities. The window in our bedroom was dirty to a point we could barely see the outside, some areas are in need of TLC, and some furniture needs replacement. The lighting in the room is not convenient ( either its fully bright or total darkness, no in between). The remote somehow didn’t control the tv (only the tv box). they felt the need to wake us up to remind us we needed to checkout by noon ( which I find cheap, rude and unnecessary). I came with higher expectations and was disappointed unfortunately. Favourable points: good bedding + friendly staff.

The old 5 star hotel that stayed when I first came to CARTAGENA 10 years ago, was very impressed, especially for the courtyard layout, the swimming pool and the restaurant on the side. It arrived at around 10:00 am. It has been 28 hours flight and transfer from Beijing. It is really tired and I don’t want to wait until 3 pm (on the Intercontinental, I’ve received $50 for early check-in). The plan to stay; the front desk said that the room was ready to live, and agreed to advance the breakfast on the last day to the day, it is very rare, thank you! The front desk, restaurant and various services are very thoughtful, although the room looks old, still feel things Great value!

The scenery is very nice. You can see the sea from the balcony. Hygiene needs to be improved. Furniture is old. What I have to complain about is that such a big hotel does not have a hair dryer (maybe because the quantity is limited, the hotel staff said to look for it, but in the end they did not give it to me)

I've been @ Santuario much longer than planned due to some health issue. So, I had the time to highly appreciate not only the hostel itself, the great vibe and atmosphere, the fantastic beds setup where you have plenty of space (!) plus an unusual total privacy, like you have a mini room inside a room, but especially the people: staff is great and really cares the guest, while sick I had a family like surveillance, especially Stefy ”la chica del bar”, Kathy (cleaning & kitchen) and Jose (maintenance) never missed supporting me and asking genuinely interested how I was feeling doing their best to help. In a difficult moment, I was in the right place, thanks them! One only thing disturbing me was, the aircon management: ok it was on only evening and night, quite usual, problem was a person feeling cold was enough to shut down the aircon for everyone... and it was hot then... i love freezing, ok, but a correct balance would be the best, suggesting who's cold to wear a t-shirt should work, and others won't sweat ;-)

The hotel is located opposite the castle, but not in the ancient city. Although the straight line distance is a few hundred meters, the security situation is too big. The hotel is surrounded by local people's residential areas, there is a big supermarket, but the security situation is a bit complicated. Everyone said that don't walk to the ancient city, you have to call a car, even if it is very close. The hotel breakfast is very good, there are freshly squeezed juices, various cheeses.
