It’s my second time staying here, and both times the experience has been great. I landed late at night, and the hotel made sure I didn’t have to wait long at the airport—they were right on time for pickup, which I really appreciated. Food-wise, I was craving steamed momos, and they were good. Breakfast options were a bit limited, but apart from that, everything else was spot on. The room, staff interaction, and overall service were very good.

Lovely stay in Hotel Thrive. The hotel is located just off the main tourist hub in Thamel, it’s a very short walk and the hotel has security 24/7. The main courtyard is beautiful, a true tropical calm oasis away from the busy streets of Kathmandu. The rooms are spacious and modern with all the amenities you would need alongside daily housekeeping. The gym is compact but with good, well kept modern machinery and fantastic views across Kathmandu. The breakfast is delicious with ample choice to suit everyone. I would highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay again when we next visit Kathmandu.

The staff allowed us to check in early after a long overnight train.  Thank you. The hotel is comfortable and perfectly located.  We could walk to the Potala and Jokhang Temple. Dozens of restaurants and cafes were also within walking distance. There was oxygen in the rooms and breakfast staff were very welcoming.  Would stay there again.

The hotel is very modern, with a comfortable decor. The breakfast is plentiful, and the service is attentive. It's very close to the Great Stupa; you can see it just by opening the window. It's also close to Wat Shekcheon. I would definitely stay here again next time.

I recently booked Sara Sadan Hotel in Kathmandu for my parents, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hospitality and clear guidance provided by the staff were excellent. My parents were very comfortable during their stay and were truly happy with the service. The staff were extremely friendly, respectful, and always helpful. Clean and nice hotel but the windows don't open. It was quite stuffy and unbearable. I applied for cancellation at the hotel, but I was told that I couldn't do it even before the cancellation time, so I had no choice but to stay ... I was told that there was a balcony in other rooms. I've been paying more than 18000. I wanted to cancel once and rebuild the room, but it didn't come true. It was a disappointing trip because I paid a lot of money. It is a pity that the cooperation between the hotel and the site is not functioning at all.

Extremely wonderful hotel 15 minutes walk from the airport. Everything was sparkling clean, comfortable, and I always felt well taken care of. The gym is well stocked and has a great view of the city. Breakfast was another highlight and included many delicious Nepalese, Indian, and Western foods. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind, helping me call taxis for a cheaper fare than the tourist rip off price, and they also helped me store my luggage overnight while I went on a yoga retreat. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!!

I had an incredible stay and extended two more nights.  The GM and the staff are super helpful and customer oriented.  Room is spacious.  Morning yoga is included and the male yoga teacher is phenomenal.  The yoga practice is inside the monastery.  The location is another advantage.  It’s walking distance to the Boudha Stupa which allows me to walk there a few times a day.  At the same time, it’s in a quiet dead end.  Lastly, it could be helpful for some who wish to disconnect digitally because   wifi doesn’t work too well .  There’s only one server located near the staircase in my building. If your room is far away from it, the signal is obviously problematic.

Superb service from this hotel! They offer free pick up service so I have no worries to travel from airport to hotel around midnight. Their breakfast is fantastic, their staffs are very helpful, one of the staffs even came and asked if I need any bacon and he cooked on the spot for me. I booked a deluxe single room but I get a twin bedroom which is much more spacious. Lovely atmosphere, great location in the city, the street is quiet even though nearby the busy Thamel street. The hotel manager, Mega, is super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!
