This is top notch place and the staff are friendly and very helpful. They provide food according to my dietary needs and taste. The place is very clean bright quiet up to date and comfortable. Location is easily within walking distance to airport. Nevertheless they provide free rides to and from airport. Excellent.

The location of the hotel is very good, within walking distance to the square, and the breakfast is very good. There is no air conditioning in the entire hotel, please note. When I made a reservation on Ctrip, I saw that the payment method was credit card. In the end, the front desk said that I could only pay in cash, so I contacted Ctrip. Throughout the process, Ctrip customer service said that the agent would contact the hotel. No one answered the phone at the hotel front desk, so I sat at the front desk the whole time. I asked for the hotel phone number and sent it to Ctrip. Ctrip said that the agent would Shang said no one answered, and the front desk clerk was scrolling through Tik Tok the entire time. I negotiated with the hotel and checked in the next day before paying. During this period, I contacted Ctrip but the agent was still unable to contact the hotel. Later, I communicated with the hotel man by myself and took me to another hotel on a motorcycle, swiped my card and paid the room fee. I reported to Ctrip, and Ctrip said that I would be refunded 150 yuan. The above situation is true. I'm just stating the facts. The hotel is good, recommended to stay.

We were too early for check in but they went above and beyond just to check us in early. Very grateful for that. Great stay. A slipper and a robe would be preferred for a boutique hotel but very worth the price.

Hotel is good for cleanliness, location and services. Some basic amenities should be more such as towels which generally good qualities hotel have multiple ones. It’s in fact a small deal which can be improved easily.

Overall it's pretty good, with a swimming pool and a rooftop bar. You don't have to go to Kathmandu's good restaurants and bars if you live here! In the off-season, you can walk in and ask the price, which is $100. It's still more cost-effective to book online. It's in the center of Thamel, close to Durbar Square, and the Dream Garden is downstairs.

I stayed at Hyatt Centric Kathmandu and was pleasantly surprised — the room was actually better than in the photos! Spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with stunning views of the mountains, the city, and even the Monkey Temple. Definitely a highlight of the stay. The rooftop pool was decent, not too crowded and with a nice ambiance. I also ordered room service once — the food was just okay, and the breakfast was a bit underwhelming, especially for a Hyatt. The selection was quite limited for this brand's usual standard. One downside was my arrival experience. I came down from a taxi and noticed there were no bellboys or concierge staff outside to help with my luggage — maybe due to a staff shortage? Only once I approached the lobby did a staff member assist me and take my bags to the room. Thankfully, check-in itself was smooth and fast, and I appreciated being allowed to enter my room before the standard 2 PM check-in time. The welcome drink was also a nice touch. All in all, the room and view were excellent — probably the best part of this Hyatt. Just a bit more attention to guest arrival and food variety would make the experience even better.

Radisson is a top notch hotel with a good location near the tourist district and close to many restaurants and shops. The breakfast is expansive with everything from fruit to meats and cheeses, but it is a bit expensive to include it in your room plan. The room is very comfortable with a nice bed and linens. My only suggestion would be to take a second look in the tub/shower. There is mold in the tile grout lines and in the nonslip mat.

(Kathmandu) After traveling to over 50 countries, I can confidently say that my stay at the Lakhey Hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu, stands out as the absolute best hotel experience I’ve ever had. WThe facilities are excellent: the rooms are large, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. However, the true magic lies in the service and the people. The owner and every staff member are genuinely amazing. They don't just offer friendly service; they treat you like family. This is authentic, personal care, not the ”fake friendly” experience you sometimes get elsewhere. They Solve Everything: All my questions were answered, and every requirement was met. Critically, when I encountered major problems with my jeep transport and my flight to Lukla, the owner personally stepped in and resolved everything efficiently. He is resourceful, incredibly knowledgeable about all the local hikes and travel in Nepal, and his Chinese language skills are remarkable. The location is perfect—it's right in Thamel but located on a very quiet side street, guaranteeing a peaceful night's sleep. The food is also outstanding, with a different, amazing breakfast served every single day. I am now heading off on my hike, but I am already looking forward to my return stay. Thank you for taking such exceptionally good care of me!

The staff allowed us to check in early after a long overnight train.  Thank you. The hotel is comfortable and perfectly located.  We could walk to the Potala and Jokhang Temple. Dozens of restaurants and cafes were also within walking distance. There was oxygen in the rooms and breakfast staff were very welcoming.  Would stay there again.
