GGuest UserFriendly staff the only bad thing I can mention got nothing to do with the hotel but is the taxi drivers who wait outside in front of the street at the hotel. If you use the otaxi app they will respond and tell you you have to pay double price. You better of renting a car or book a taxi with the otaxi app from a location nearby.

SSafwaanVery nice hotel in ideal location. It is on the Mwasalat airport bus route. You can easily see the building from outside and there is a mosque almost opposite two minutes walk. There is a restaurant next door selling reasonable price food and bakery items.
For Asian food, English tea or burgers and chips there is a very nice coffee shop if you take two rights out of the hotel. Grocery shops are within walking distance as is the Sultan Qaboos mosque. In fact if you like walking like me then it's easy to visit the beach, hafa souq, fruit market,
The hotel has a nice exterior, fresh coffee in the lobby and a nice frankincense fragrance. The receptionists are polite and friendly, as are the cleaning staff. The hotel is clean and there is a laundry service too. There is disabled access outside and a lift for ease of daily use for everyone.
The room was clean with bathroom and free soap and tissue paper. There was a fridge in the room and tv. Most of the rooms have windows. Mine didn't but the manager offered to swap it. I stayed as it was good for sleep and it has a mini window for light. Anyway I cannot complain as the manager was so helpful.
The bed was just right for me and the linen was fresh( I didn't take a photo as my photos was all taken last minute)
It was nice and clean overall and the pace of Salalah is just right for me and plenty of walking opportunities. Many Arab people stay here too. It is one of the better hotels due to the bus route and the location. I am glad I found it on this app. The price was good too

GGuest UserThe facility was very large, so on one hand, it offers many amenities (a spa, tennis and paddle courts, beach volleyball, and numerous restaurants), but on the other, it's difficult to find and reach them all. A map would be helpful to clearly show you where to go!
The food in the restaurants is quite good, and the people who work there are very knowledgeable and friendly!

GGuest UserThe hotel is excellent! We stayed with our family from April 14th to April 21st, 2026. The beaches are fantastic, with options for everyone: completely calm, with small waves, or the ocean with large waves. The only downside, which ruined one day, was related to car rental. I had inquired about car rental from Russia, and the hotel recommended 'alphaglobalcar' in an email, stating they were good partners. They turned out to be scammers. Thanks to the person at the front desk (I don't remember their name) who, after an hour of shouting back and forth with 'alphaglobalcar,' helped resolve the conflict. My only question is, why would the hotel recommend these scammers when there's a good car rental service available right at the hotel?

Amazing
PPal VirdeeAl Baleed Resort has great location with miles of unspoilt white sand beach. Eating options are limited to only 3 restaurants.
The breakfast at the Salkana restaurant is extremely good with great service from all the staff. However, the dinner buffet for the Indian night was below average with some dishes that did NOT do justice to the Indian Cuisine. There is much room for improvement on food quality and taste.
The Al Mina restaurant (Mediterranean Cuisine) was very disappointing in terms of vegetarian options and general service. On one occasion we had to wait 40 minutes before even the bread & olive oil were brought to the table!

OOlga1985VoronThe hotel is located an hour away from the airport. It is located in the distance of everything, i.e. to get out of the territory nowhere. The rooms are located in the main building and in separate standing houses. Unfortunately, when we were inhabited in the five-star hotel room, there was no shoe, no dressing room, no accessories. They were brought only after the request.
Food is quite uniform and scarce. For food, a queue is lined. Staff is not able to clean tables for visitors , drinks are easier to take by themselves than wait for them to be brought. Drinks are served only in a strictly devoted time from 12 to 15 in a bar at the pool and from 12 to 18 on Fridays. In a cafe in the lobby everything is paid. At the same time, exchange of money on the resepshne counter is impossible , you need to go to a shop where you must buy something.
The beach is a little far away - you can get to the baggage or walk. Sometimes there are not enough lying on the beach.
No animation, only Italian for Italians. For Italians a separate restaurant.
Staff friendly, on the counter the resepshin speak Russian.
Overall , staying in the hotel is quite comfortable. White sand and lasurious sea smoothed out the shortcomings.

GGuest UserVery beautiful hotel - very beautiful villa with private swimming pool.
Very spacious room - with sea view
The breakfast is complete and very good!
The restaurant for the dinner is also very good!
The hotel is located just a few minutes from Mirbat - at a good time of Salalah.
For the calm c is the hotel to take.
+++ for all hotel staff
There are qqs points of improvement: the outer decor to do - because the dry side has the interior of the resort can leave a unfinished taste of hotel

ЛЛулуThis is a perfect place to stay for 2-3 days. You can get everywhere by bus, and Google Maps shows all the routes and times. There are plenty of places to walk around, and you can even walk to the beach. However, if you're looking for a beach vacation, this isn't the spot; the beach is more for strolls. Let me tell you, if you want good service, go to Hilton. I've stayed with this chain many times in different countries, and their standards are truly excellent.

JJi iGreat hotel in a new tourist area, but very clean and perfect for relaxation (except the guests of the very large neighborhoods that stole early in the morning all the rests on the beach which must be absolutely improved, But we went soon:) pleasant breakfast without too many people with the kind Nerage and the excellent chef Moataz who prepared eggs in any way always excellent! We had a nice view of the sea, but some nights the music was feeling a little high, the cloaks are not very good and even the door of the room let the noise of the general conditioning plant enter, But he was not more than so irritating to us, a special mention of the always careful and smile Rasha and Murad for gentleness and excellent cleaning.
