Beach Hotels in Perak, Malaysia

This was our second stay at Sunway Lost World Hotel, and it was a much better experience than our first. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a Classic Triple room, and having the night park passes included for both nights was a huge plus. However, there were a few areas that could be improved: Amenities: The room was clean and the linens were fresh. Unfortunately, we had no hot water in our room for both nights. Despite being told it just ”takes time” to warm up, it never did. Taking a cold shower at 11:00 PM after the night park was a major downside. Dining & Location: The hotel isn't very close to outside eateries. Room service ends around 10:00 PM, so if you return from the night park late, options are very limited. Since we visited during the Raya break, most nearby Muslim-owned shops were closed, requiring a drive to find food. Breakfast: Day one was enjoyable, but day two was a bit chaotic due to the surge of guests. Food wasn't refilled quickly enough and finding a table was a challenge and a lot of food were not refilled as it finished. Overall, a good stay for the park access, but the water temperature and breakfast logistics during peak periods need attention.

One of good budget hotel to stay in Lumut town. Friendly staffs and smooth checked in and out. Room is clean, however bad smell from the bathroom have to be improved. Overall satisfied and recommended.

I had a wonderful one-night stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut Resort. The hotel is very kids-friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. They have a great kids club and a fun water park that kept the children entertained throughout the stay. The view from the hotel is absolutely beautiful—peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to rest and recharge. I was also impressed with the food at the hotel. The meals were delicious and offered a good variety, suitable for both adults and kids. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for a fun yet relaxing short vacation.

My humble opinion since i stay at bungalow type.. is suitable for family gather but as for repeater totally im not.. start from booking experience.. the hotel not allow me to modfy change room type and need hotel consider my request but they not accept and by the time i reach there found my booking was cancel.. i was really lucky no one booking just after they cancel my booking.. hospitality also need to improve.. buggy to the beach “under maintenance”.. i can simplified such “vacation” company just have one buggy i guess.. urmmm… pool?? Sedey just like my kids also sedey..

The check-in process took a bit long to get the access card. The room itself was quite spacious, an apartment with one bedroom, and came with 4 bottles of mineral water. However, there was a slight musty smell in the room, likely due to the humidity. A big plus for Anylodge is their buffet breakfast, which is provided according to the number of guests. The food was satisfying, offering a variety of dishes such as roti canai, nasi lemak, mee goreng, local pastries, cereal, and fruits.

The team can definitely improve on service - especially the room service. Always advise the time it would take for the order to arrive and do not forget to take the room number! Order taker needs training on this. Facilities are good but require regular maintenance. The pool does not seem to be cleaned regularly, the tiles have become moldy and discolored. The linens are not fresh and towels raggedy. Its a nice place to stay, but management must make an effort to maintain facilities, train staff and invest on better quality linens!

Marina Island Boat transfer easy, although I feel a little expensive. Coffee was cold, they had wrong check in information and I almost tripped on uneven block surface exiting building to boat. Check in completed at reception , with correction to booking. We were in a lower tropical garden villa, which is cheapest room. We were lucky to have part sea view and part back of pool view. Other lower villas in this category, not so good a view. This said, room was gorgeous, despite dead moth in sunken bath area. All the staff were fantastic and helpful. Chatted to some people in over water villas, who were disappointed you could not swim in sea from villa, nor enter sea from beach around jetty , due to sea urchins. On the other side of the Island is Emerrald bay. Absolutely stunning! Beautiful beach and sea to swim in. Lots of space for sun beds, but everyday ran out by 11am! Suggest they get some more! Forfeited scrumptious in all restaurants. 

The resort has a two-story building and several log cabins. We stayed in the two-story building, which was pretty good. The swimming pool was great, and the sun was great. There was a pier next to the entrance, and there were many restaurants. There was a service fee for accommodation, 10 yuan per person per day, and we were charged 40 yuan for room service. This is very strange. Isn't it your responsibility to clean the room? Moreover, you can choose not to clean it. But you still have to pay. I feel this is very unreasonable. I will complain to Ctrip. This is opened by Indians. Indians are serious about their work, but they are fussy and annoying.

This is a superb place to stay at teluk nipah, night time is happening and you can see so many choices of food and if u plan to hv trip during school holidays theres fireshow just straight ahead from this place. Theres atv nearby as well.
