I arrived at late check-in time on 2/11 Sunday and Mildua Inlander's staff was after office hour so I contacted to staff for room check-in by phone call, Staff are so helpful to help me to collect the room key and required admin work. However, due to the resort's layout and my room location(my room is ROOM 90), the circulation of the hotel is not poor, poor room ordering(it is not by 101 for on 1/F like typical hotel, it is using 1-50 for G/F, 51-100 for level 1; if 101-110 for block 1, 121-129 for block 2, 131-139 for block 3, 141-150 for block 4 would be better), no coherent corridor at the end, not much signage and map/easy to miss, no Lift or easy ramp for level 1. so, it is hard to find my room and poor experience before entry the room.
Room is good for me. One thing is: can consider to have openable window after the mosquito net on the balcony sliding door if I don't want to turn on the air-conditioner.
We had a great stay at Balgownie. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful and spacious. We enjoyed the food and definitely recommend eating dinner here and wine tasting during your stay.
I have stayed at several motels, this is my favorite. Although the boss and the couple are not Chinese, they are very warm and kind. Look at the horses we are interested in, and take the initiative to take the carrots and let us feed them. It was a simple motel, but the room was clean and stayed for two days. In the morning, I saw the boss picking up sheets. We took a child to sleep, okay, no extra bed and no money. Free parking at the hotel, there is a supermarket nearby, very convenient, it is recommended. There is a bug in the room. In the evening, let the husband kill the bug and you can sleep peacefully. Overall, I don’t want to hide it.
Arrived at hotel, advised I would have to pay for parking then told to just park outside for free. The elevator was out of action and told it would be working later that day, got there Tues left Thursday and still not working. Lucky I didn't have large bags because I was on the 3rd floor.
The water pressure in the shower was very poor, hot water minimal and had to wait 5 min then a poor stream had to run around to get wet.
So a bit overpriced for a hotel.

Confusing parking ticket machine swallowed my credit card but staff got it back quickly, Very close to Melbourne airport. Room was clean but the facilities were miserly.
No extra pillows, no face cloths and only 2 towels, shampoo dispenser in shower was empty .Temperature in room had only a small range. Bed had comforter with 3 sheets, Either too hot or cold. Could give you more coffee satchels. No microwave. The staff were very helpful. For the money they charge they could be a little bit more generous. TV was confusing and no wi fi in room. Did not eat at Hotel.
We arrived late but we managed to pick up the keys. Thank you so much.
The toilet in the room is very cold during the June period. The heater in the room doesn't cover that space. The water could also be a little warmer during winter. We had turned the tap to the max and found the water lukewarm.
Booked 2 rooms with my parents here and really loved it. The hotel is near several restaurants, shops and a shopping mall (Dandenong Square). We rented a car and found the hotel to be a very well located base to explore the wider Mt. Dandenong region and various attractions like the Puffing Billy Railway, Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery, Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park and Olinda Village. The breakfast was the standard English Breakfast - baked beans, tomatoes, scrambled eggs, mushrooms and bacon, with bread and various spreads. The staff were very friendly too, a good place to stay!
A clean quiet older style motel, well-managed and excellent value. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and live on site. The rooms have a small fridge which is very handy and a split air conditioner which also works as an effective heater. Parking is outside your door and the WIFI is fast and reliable. We would happily stay here again.
No power for majority of our stay. This mean no air conditioning, no lifts to assist with luggage, no tv, hot water, working fridge or cooking facilities, no spa, limited gym, very dark passage ways and no lighting in car park and some stair wells. The onsite cafe was closed and even the pedal karts the kids wanted to use were all broken and not able to use.
Staff considering the issues were lovely and the resort itself was how we hoped, but needed up wasting our time and money for this stay. No offer of compensation or refund. Very disappointed.
Thanks to the host lady for taking time to help us when we arrive at the time of the office closure.
Bread and cooking as a welcome gift, super sympa.

Great
GGuest UserRoom has everything needed. Clean and tidy.
Walking distance to T4. Very reliable shuttle to other terminals.
Only that upon arrival at check-in, the only staff at reception seems to prefer us to use the self check-in machine than assisting us directly. A warm smile would have made it more pleasant.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is a bit old, but its location is a big plus – super convenient for shopping! The bed was comfy and soft, and the in-room facilities were well-equipped. No one offered to help with luggage, and the hotel has two entrances, but the staff didn't tell me which one was easier for catching a ride. When I came back by taxi, they didn't open the door for me, but when my friends dropped me off, they were very enthusiastic, opened the car door, and greeted us!

EeMGee_Good location. Just in front of the tram stop Russel Street on Bourke. There's a Thai & Japanese Restaurant downstairs as well. Front desk is extremely helpful & jolly. Bed is just right. Room is clean. There's a hair dryer, iron, safe, but no toothbrush, I didn't ask, but maybe it's upon request. The good thing about Citadines on Bourke is they have a full kitchen with plates & silverware. We didn't use it, but having a microwave is definitely a plus. They didn't clean daily, but maybe you can ask. But it wasn't an issue for us. We didn't need it anyway. Overall it was a good place to stay in Melbourne, we feel it's very central and near good places to be at.

GGuest UserThis is an older five-star hotel with decent service. Its location is similar to Tsim Sha Tsui East in Hong Kong – quiet, with many famous shops, bars, and Western restaurants nearby. However, you'll notice a lot of tourists around when you step outside.
The breakfast is pretty good and acceptable, offering standard fare like bread, eggs, coffee, cheese, ham, and fruit – all the daily essentials.
The main drawback is that the hotel is too close to the two adjacent buildings. There are very few rooms with a view; most rooms get little to no sunlight throughout the day and require the curtains to be drawn almost constantly.
The bathroom is particularly bad. The shower screen only covers half the area, so water inevitably splashes all over the floor, making it a mess. This means you often have to use bath towels to dry the floor, leading to constantly wet carpets and very dirty towels in the long run.

GGuest UserVery easy check in. Instructions by reception were spot on.
The one bedroom apartment was huge. Plenty of room with an equally huge balcony.
The place was clean, apart from one of the towels that had some type of hard black stain that stick do towels to it’s self. Not ideal, but this would be an issue with the laundry company that Quest use.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend.
AAnonymous UserAn absolutely terrible experience, the service is practically non-existent. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
At 8 AM, I discovered the hairdryer in my room was broken. With wet hair, I couldn't leave. I immediately called the front desk, and they said they'd ”arrange for a new one to be sent right away.” After waiting 20 minutes with no one showing up, I called again at 8:20 AM. The front desk once more said they'd ”follow up.” By 8:30 AM, on my third call, it was still just ”Okay, okay.” I couldn't wait any longer and had to go down to the front desk with my hair still soaking wet.
Upon arriving at the front desk, it seemed like only one person was working in the entire hotel. This staff member was simultaneously checking out guests and rushing to the storage room to find a hairdryer for me. Throughout the entire process, there was no one to assist, no one to coordinate, and no one offered an apology. That whole morning, apart from the front desk being this 'isolated island,' I felt no presence from any other department.
It wasn't until 9 AM that I finally got a hairdryer. This wasted a whole hour of my time, just waiting around, when I could have left much earlier.
During my four-day stay, the only staff I ever saw were at the front desk and in the breakfast restaurant. As for other departments? They were nowhere to be seen. If a hotel can't even guarantee basic room service, what's the point of staying? I do not recommend it.

GGuest UserPros:
1️⃣ Great location: Very close to Southern Cross Station, and there's a bus stop right downstairs with direct routes to Carlton Gardens, Bourke Street, etc. It's also convenient for Vline and Skybus, and Queen Victoria Market is within walking distance.
2️⃣ Modern environment: It's a very new hotel, and the overall view is quite nice. The breakfast view even gives off a bit of a Central Park vibe. There's a water station offering still and sparkling water.
3️⃣ Breakfast: It was decent, acceptable.
Cons:
1️⃣ Breakfast: I stayed for 6 days, and the breakfast selection was exactly the same every single day – no variety at all. It could definitely be richer, and perhaps offer some noodles or other options. The hotel also offers dinner, which tastes good but has limited choices.
2️⃣ Room: A bit small. Like other Australian hotels, it doesn't provide toiletries or slippers.
3️⃣ Service: It was okay. Sometimes they'd forget to restock supplies.

Amazing
TTaninaz1. The remark of parking charge is unclear in trip.com. A little bit disappointed when the reception said that we have to pay.
2. The tab water has a chlorine smell somehow. Not that good to drink directly.
3. Good location, nice room, very clean, good service on site.
GGuest UserThe hotel rooms are just a row of simple ground-floor units, incredibly small. There's barely enough space to move once you put down a suitcase. The room amenities are very basic and poor quality, yet it cost nearly 800 yuan. The front desk service was even worse; they told us that our two-person reservation was only for one person and tried to make us pay for an upgrade. I told them I booked a double room, and for the upgrade price, I could stay at the Holiday Inn at the airport. Plus, the taxi ride here was quite expensive. I also thought the shuttle bus was available anytime, but it turns out it only runs every half hour, and now I have to wake up early tomorrow morning. I truly regret booking this hotel. It's expensive, unhelpful, and inconvenient.
