"Had a pleasant stay at Travelodge Windsor Central. The hotel is very centrally located, making it easy to explore Windsor Castle, shops, and restaurants—all within a short walking distance, and right next to the train station. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall it offers good value for a short stay. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The only downside is that there is no pick-up or drop-off point directly in front of the hotel, so arriving with luggage or by car can be a bit inconvenient. Aside from that, it’s a solid and convenient choice for a weekend stay in Windsor."

Opened in 2024, the Harte and Garter is a great accommodation choice in Windsor. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 400m from Windsor & Eton Central Station and 11km from Heathrow Airport. With King Henry III Tower, The Curfew Tower and Queen Victoria Statue all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around.
"The location is perfect. We booked a room with the best view. It was a bit dirty though, with cigarette butts left on the balcony. The glasses were mismatched, and there was no stopper for the bathtub. The shampoo/shower gel were a strange mix, not from the same set. It was my birthday on the day we checked in, but no complimentary gesture was offered. The hotel itself is a bit tired, and the carpets are worn, but for the amazing castle view and the great photos you can take, it's something you can overlook."

This hotel is not near the airport. The Hotel shuttle from the airport doesn’t go to this hotel. 90% of taxi refused to go there from terminal 5 because it’s too difficult. There is no hotel-owned shuttle. Public bus 703 goes to hotel but is not frequent on weekends or late at night. You have to hire WeKnowLondon in advance. Very misleading advertising that this hotel is convenient to airport. It is cheap because it is inconvenient. I paid £30 one-way for trip to hotel, so factor that into cost unless you’re taking public bus during regular daytime weekday. Also, no restaurants or shops nearby, but there is a petrol station. Hotel staff, cleanliness and such are good. Location sucks. “Lakeside” view attached. Note lack of lake.

Hotel really well situated for the motorway and for Newbury station. The facilities are really good, and service received from the moment we arrived from the very friendly and helpful member of staff on reception. Really lovely breakfast with a great choice of food. Will definitely be returning

Absolutely brilliant hotel, fantastic staff who couldn't do anymore for visitors, clean rooms and clean common areas, plenty of activities to occupy the kids during the stay and plenty of refreshments during the day including good breakfast and dinner options. We used the pool twice a day during our stay, visited the arcade and outside park / nature trails and outside games section and neither of my children wanted to come home. I 100% recommend this hotel to everyone and will definitely be visiting again!

The hotel's location is excellent, directly across from Windsor Castle. The parking lot is behind the hotel; you can navigate directly there by entering the hotel's parking into your phone, otherwise, it might be a bit hard to find. The parking fee is £30 for one night, which the hotel staff said isn't considered expensive.

Room was on ground floor with two queen beds, (I only needed one), tv off button didn’t work, the room is very old and dated and is in dire need of a refresh. Premier inn has nicer rooms !! Menu is very overpriced, vegan burger fries and a coke £35!! I would not stay here again at least not until it has a refresh, it’s just seems worn out and old in the room I was in

Adequate hotel for the price. Mattress and pillow were slightly uncomfortable. Due to the hotel being a wedding venue, I was kept up at night due to the wedding music from below.

I stayed here for one night before heading back home. It's a few kilometers from Terminal 5, but we had a driver taking us to the airport. The hotel does offer a shuttle bus, but I think it's for a fee. The hotel has a huge number of rooms, and the cleanliness was just okay. We booked breakfast and dinner, which were predominantly Indian cuisine. The front desk staff wasn't very professional; they forgot to give me one of my dinner vouchers and didn't even apologize when I went to ask about it.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast selection was quite rich, and the hygiene was clean and tidy. The service attitude was good, offering great value for money. It's a bit of a distance from the train station, requiring a short walk or a ride-sharing service.

The room was a pleasant surprise, much better than what we saw from the outside. It was spacious and bright. However, the bathroom's exhaust fan seemed to be broken and wasn't working at all. The air conditioning also wasn't very cool, making the room feel stuffy and hot.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. The facilities were well-maintained, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the overall service was of a very high standard. I would especially like to commend Kiran at reception for her outstanding professionalism and support. She ensured that our check-in process was seamless and efficient, addressing everything with a warm and courteous approach.
