Join the JKA Karate Club of Mississauga for a FREE introductory class of Shotokan Karate! This class is perfect for individuals aged 6 and above, with no prior experience necessary. Discover the pillars of karate, including kihon (basics), kata (forms), and kumite (sparring), taught by the esteemed Japanese Karate Association (JKA). Our dedicated instructors, including Fidel, Francis, Luigi, Rafik, Thomas, and Katie, have years of experience and have competed at various levels, locally, nationally, and internationally. As a Registered Community Group affiliated with the City of Mississauga, our instructors previously taught karate programs at esteemed community centers such as Frank McKechnie, South Common, Mississauga Valley, Meadowvale, and Burnhamthorpe. The class will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 16, 23, and 30 at the Frank McKechnie Community Centre gym from 7:30 pm to 8:45 pm. No uniforms are required, and please come dressed in comfortable attire suitable for physical activities. Remember, skirts and tube tops are not permitted. Feel free to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Register now to secure your spot and receive your complimentary ticket.
