Owen Scrivens has a wealth of experience in the field, having performed and taught regularly in Liverpool, Newcastle, and Sheffield. He has collaborated with renowned companies such as Sticky Floor Improv, Impropriety, Open Heart Theatre, and Playing Dead Theatre. Owen's main interest lies in the intersection between theatre and improvisation, where he successfully blends the profound with the enjoyable.
At this year's festival, Owen will be showcasing "Old Haunts," a show that strives for accessibility and aims to break down barriers to improvisation. Currently, Owen serves as the director and teacher for SaSS Improv in Sheffield.
In addition to his impressive resume, Owen has also co-created "Living.Dying.Dead," an improvised theatre show that engages audiences in discussions surrounding death, dying, and bereavement.
