Join the Black Writers' Workshop by Cass Dyce, now hosted at LOVING ROOM: diaspora books + salon, for an inspiring and empowering writing experience. This event, called Writing Black @ the House with Cassidy Dyce, welcomes Black writers of all backgrounds, genres, and experience levels to come together and connect through their love for the written word. Taking place on the 3rd Wednesdays of each month, specifically on October 18, November 15, and December 13, from 5:30-7:30pm, this event aims to cultivate a supportive community and encourage creative expression. At Writing Black @ the House, creativity knows no bounds, as it caters to authors, poets, musicians, and all those in between and beyond. Cassidy A. Dyce, the host of the event, is a talented storyteller who seeks to inspire and empower through her writing. As a co-author of the upcoming graphic novel trilogy, Brainstormerz, she has proven her storytelling abilities. Based in Seattle, Washington, Cassidy also works with Seattle Arts and Writer-In-The-Schools (WITS), spreading her passion for creative writing and literature in public schools. The event is hosted at LOVING ROOM: diaspora books + salon, located at 1400 20th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122. Please note that street parking is available, but can be limited, so plan accordingly. The venue is ADA accessible, with gender-neutral restrooms and a low-scent environment.
