The CA District 14 - West Region Umpire Outreach Clinic is the premier event for Little League umpires in Northern California. This highly anticipated clinic will take place from March 1st to March 3rd at the Fremont Centerville Little League in Fremont, CA. The clinic will cover a range of important topics including the Concepts and Philosophy of the Little League Umpire, Field Mechanics and Positioning, Plate Mechanics with Cage Work, Timing and Communication. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experienced West Region Instructors who will provide on-the-field training focused on base and plate mechanics. The clinic is designed to help umpires sharpen their skills and prepare for the upcoming season. Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. Male students must also bring their own protective cup for the live plate cage work. The clinic schedule includes a classroom session on Friday, March 1st, followed by on-the-field sessions on Saturday, March 2nd and Sunday, March 3rd.
