Join the Virginia Brewery Running Series™ for a thrilling 5k Beer Run at Dynasty Brewing in Leesburg on October 14th, 2023. Lace up your running shoes and get ready for a fun-filled day of exercise and great beer. The run will start at 11AM from the taproom at Dynasty Brewing West and take you on a scenic route through the charming Ashburn neighborhood. Whether you prefer running, walking, or jogging, everyone is welcome to participate regardless of age or fitness level. After crossing the finish line, it's time to celebrate! All participants will receive cash to cover a craft brew from Dynasty Brewery, along with the choice of a collector's pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series. But the excitement doesn't end there - you also have the chance to win fantastic door prizes like Brewery Running Series merchandise or beer to take home. In addition to all the goodies, you can enjoy live music, games, and giveaways. By joining this event, you not only get to enjoy a fun run and delicious local beer but also contribute to a worthy cause. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go directly to local nonprofits, supporting important work in our community. Over $350k has been raised to date, and this event will add to that tally. It's an open course, so remember to obey all traffic laws and regulations. The route is designed to showcase the beauty of the surrounding neighborhood, marked with arrows to guide you along the way. Don't forget to bring a valid ID or driver's license, as you must be 21 to enjoy the beer. If you're underage, you'll receive a token for a free non-alcoholic beverage. Come rain or shine, the event will go on. In case of unsafe running conditions, we'll still gather to enjoy the beer. There won't be a bag check, so dress appropriately for the weather and plan accordingly. Dogs and strollers are welcome, but please exercise caution as you run at your own risk on city sidewalks, streets, and trails. Check with the brewery for their dog and underage policies.
