Join the Stand Up Comedy for Beginners course in Belfast at the Morton Community Centre. Over the course of four weeks, participants will learn the art of developing and performing their own unique stand-up comedy routine. This interactive course provides an opportunity to learn and refine writing and performance skills, with constructive feedback from both peers and the experienced course instructor. By the end of the course, participants will have a confident 5-10 minute set ready to perform live. This course is ideal for those who are new to stand-up comedy, but it is also beneficial for individuals looking to enhance their joke-writing or performance abilities, as well as building confidence in public speaking. Many previous participants have gone on to achieve success in the Northern Ireland comedy circuit, including writing their own hour-long specials, appearing on podcasts, and hosting their own comedy nights.
