The Valley Predators Girls Hockey Program is excited to announce the second annual Mat-Su Guns N' Hoses (2nd Annual) hockey game, taking place on November 11, 2023, at the Curtis D. Menard Memorial Sports Center in Wasilla. This thrilling match will feature fierce competition between the police and fire departments, as well as other first responder athletes from our community. Tickets for this event are priced at a reasonable $10, with free admission for children aged 12 and under. The Mat-Su Valley's passion for hockey runs deep, and we are proud to be a part of this community. By attending the Guns N' Hoses hockey game, you will not only enjoy an action-packed sporting event but also support a great cause. Proceeds from the game will go towards promoting girls' hockey in the Mat-Su Valley. Join the New Year with the Knights Skills Camp in Wasilla for an exciting two-day training experience! This camp is designed for hockey players of different age groups, including 10U-12U and 14U-16U. Led by the Colony Knights Varsity and JV Hockey team, each group will have the opportunity to enhance their power skating, stick handling, shooting mechanics, and passing & receiving skills. The camp will also feature shot speed and accuracy assessments to help players track their progress. The 10U-12U group will meet on Tuesday, January 2nd from 3:30pm to 5:00pm and Wednesday, January 3rd from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. The 14U-16U group will have their sessions on Thursday, January 4th from 3:30pm to 5:00pm and Friday, January 5th from 3:15pm to 4:45pm. Remember to bring your own water bottle for hydration.
