Michelle Samour, a multimedia artist renowned for her expertise in papermaking and works on paper, will delve into the artmaking processes and share the captivating stories behind each piece. With a keen focus on the intersection of science, technology, and the natural world, Samour's thought-provoking practice also delves into the sociopolitical impact of redefining borders and boundaries. Having been an artist-in-residence at prestigious institutions such as Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, and PRINT Press at the University of Northern Texas, Samour's work has been featured in renowned institutions including the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, Fuller Craft Museum, and Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard University.
