Experience the enchanting beauty of Newport by the sea with Bike Newport's Full Moon Rides, sponsored by AARP Rhode Island. These monthly rides offer a unique opportunity to explore the picturesque Ocean Drive under the magical glow of the full moon. Beginning at Equality Park in downtown Newport, riders will embark on a 13-mile journey along scenic coastal roads, passing by breathtaking harbor, bay, and ocean views. The next ride is scheduled for April 23, 2024, at 6:30 pm. Registration is required for each ride, and spaces fill up quickly. While a suggested donation of $10 per rider is appreciated, it is not mandatory. Participants must be 18 and above and equipped with a helmet, front headlight, and rear red blinking light for safety. In case of inclement weather, the ride may be rescheduled within 3 days. Join us for an unforgettable evening of cycling under the moonlit sky and discover the beauty of Newport in a whole new light.
