Join the JoyRiders Festive Ride: NW6 & NW8 to Oxford Street, a slow-paced women-only beginners plus ride on mostly quiet roads and cycle paths. This medium-paced women's ride is perfect for those looking to build their confidence in road cycling. As long as participants can pedal, steer, and brake, this ride is suitable for all skill levels. The ride will commence at 10 am at The Granville, located at 80 Granville Road, London, NW6 5RA. From there, the group will cycle to Westminster Wheels on Church St NW8, where they will meet a second group of riders at 10:30 am. If you require a bike, please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for adjustments. The ride will continue to Oxford Street and Selfridges, with a break at a Regents Park cafe before returning to NW6 & NW8. The aim is to be back by 1:00 pm. It is essential to arrive on time as the ride will set off promptly. Participants are advised to bring water, snacks, hats, gloves, money or card for any purchases, a spare inner tube, bike lock, and a helmet if desired. Please note that places are limited, and if unable to attend, kindly inform the organizers as soon as possible to offer the place to someone on the waiting list.
