Experience the She Who Watches Tour, a .75-mile guided exploration of Indigenous rock art in the Horsethief Lake area of Columbia Hills Historical State Park, a National Historic Site in Dallesport, WA. Discover pictographs and petroglyphs, including the iconic Tsagaglalal, on this 1.5-hour journey through history. The trail, though not overly strenuous, features rough terrain and steep inclines, so wear sturdy shoes and bring water to stay hydrated. Tours, available only on Fridays and Saturdays from April to October, are limited to 20 participants and require online registration. Remember to obtain a Discover Pass for parking, which can be purchased on-site for $10. To ensure a spot, book in advance as these tours fill up quickly. For groups of 20-40, contact the park office at least a month ahead. If you need to cancel, please do so promptly to free up spaces for others. Large group tours are subject to availability. For more details and directions, visit the State Parks website FAQs.
