Be prepared to be enthralled by the featured poet of the evening, Christine Afoa. Hailing from the villages of Lalomalava and Lotofagā, Christine Afoa brings her rich Samoan heritage to life through her poetry. As the project officer for UTS Pasifika programs and the secretary of the Australian Pasifika Educators Network, Christine's passion for storytelling shines through in her work. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned performer, this event offers a warm and welcoming environment for all. Each performer will have three minutes to read an original poem, allowing for a diverse range of voices to be heard.
